Welcome, Batch 2 of ROV Cadets! 🤖

This week begins on a proud and exciting note as we officially welcome the second batch of ROV Cadets to our training center. Composed of 10 aspiring professionals from Asia Pacific Countries, this international cohort represents not only talent and ambition but also the growing trust placed in UMTC as a premier hub for maritime and offshore training.

The orientation ceremony was led by our Managing Director, Donald Bautista, together with our Training Director, Roy Akker, and was followed by important training reminders from the OIC of the Electro-Technical Department, Don Deveraturda; Behavioral Aptitude Training Coach, Randy Quintos; and other notes from UMTC Faculty and Admin Staff.

We were also honored by the presence of our esteemed industry partners, Blue Ocean Marine and Offshore Inc., and DeepOcean, whose continued support strengthens our shared mission to develop world-class ROV professionals.

A huge gratitude to Ms. Cristina Garcia, President of Blue Ocean Marine and Offshore Inc., Mr. Abdullah Bin Jaffa, General Manager of DeepOcean, and Mr. Stephen Varney, HR and IR Manager, for joining us on this meaningful occasion.

As these cadets embark on their journey toward becoming highly skilled ROV technicians, we take pride in being part of their growth and success.
