A long and costly road: Pinoy PTSD patients pulling through precarious path 17/06/2026

White-knuckling nights are only part of the battle for people diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In the Philippines, healing is often hindered by more than the condition itself.

Read more about how recovery becomes an even more daunting path for patients as medication stocks run low, treatment costs increase, structural stigma persists, and access to mental health care remains out of reach for many.

Initially produced as a final requirement for their macroeconomic indicators course, the feature story written by Frenchshield Shayne Delovieres, an incoming senior journalism student, was published in Philstar.com on June 6.

Before saying goodbyes and wishing graduates well with prayers, there was still time for one more click, one more laugh, and one more memory to take home.

These photobooth snapshots captured the joy, excitement, and relief of graduates surviving deadlines and sleepless nights. They will finally walk to new beginnings --with every frame telling a memorable story.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Here's to the memories we've made and to the futures that are waiting to be written. ๐Ÿค

The demand for Ozempic, a drug prescribed for the management of diabetes, has been surging in recent years due to off-label use, like weight loss. That rise in demand had a painful consequence: soaring prices and shrinking stocks, especially for patients who are in dire need of the injections.

Read more about it in this feature story by Trisha Mae Palanas and Alliah Lyn Reyes, incoming senior journalism students, that was published in the Manila Bulletin's Business Section last June 14. The story was first submitted as a requirement for their macroeconomic indicators course.
