The UST Artlets Economics Society proudly shares the recent appointment of UST AB Economics alumna Marie Jeanette P. Cordero as Director III of the Development Information Staff (DIS) of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev).

Prior to her appointment, Director Cordero served as Officer-in-Charge of the DIS, providing leadership and strategic direction in the development and implementation of the agency's communication and advocacy initiatives.

Her professional journey reflects the diverse paths through which Thomasian Economists contribute to public service and national development. We celebrate this milestone and wishes her continued success in her service to the Filipino people.

Considering all the obstacles and moments they have been able to surpass, their achievements have definitely been worthy of recognition. From envisioning to setting goals, overcoming obstacles, and learning a lot, everything about them has paved the way for this great accomplishment. 🌌✨
