The Election season is fast approaching once again… but don’t know when? 🤔

The DLSU Commission on Elections hereby announces the Electoral Calendar for General Elections 2026. Campaigning will officially start on Week 10, running from July 13 to 25, 2026. The dates for the major events are as follows:

July 11 - COMELEC Seminar and SLIFE Formation
July 15 - MDA in Laguna Campus
July 18 - MDA in Manila Campus
July 22 - Manila Campus Debate
July 27 to 31 - Official Voting Period

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) hereby announces the approved withdrawal of registration of Santugon sa Tawag ng Panahon (SANTUGON) for the General Elections 2026 (GE2026).

Effective immediately, Santugon will not be fielding candidates for GE2026, as the party has decided to focus on internal consolidation and institutional renewal.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀?
Candidates who were set to run under Santugon may still run as independent candidates, provided they refile their Certificate of Candidacy (COC) before the filing deadline on July 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM. No refiling shall be allowed after this deadline.

Pursuant to COMELEC Resolution No. T3-04 s. 2025-2026, the DLSU Commission on Elections hereby establishes the guidelines for the voluntary withdrawal of registration of registered political parties for the upcoming elections.

This Resolution provides the procedure for political parties that wish to withdraw their registration, including the allowed period for withdrawal, the required documents, the effects of withdrawal on candidates under the party, and the process for contesting a withdrawal.

All registered political parties are enjoined to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to ensure orderly electoral processes.
