LIFE Institute Mariveles is looking for Guidance Counselor/Associate who is passionate about helping learners grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

📌 Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Social Work, or a related field.

✔ Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.

✔ Licensed Guidance Counselor is preferred; non-licensed applicants may be considered for the Guidance Associate position.

✔ Experience in guidance services, student support programs, counseling-related activities, or educational settings is an advantage.

✔ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

✔ High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and professionalism.

✔ Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.

✔ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

✔ Proficient in planning and implementing student development and support programs.

✔ Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators.

Last June 11, 2026, LIFE Institute successfully conducted a Parents’ Seminar for Grade 7 parents entitled “Discipline as Formation: Integrating Love and Law at Home and in School”.

We were honored to have Dr. Hermie G. Duran, RGC, EdD, Senior Education Program Specialist of the Schools Division Office of Bataan, as our resource speaker. The seminar aimed to help parents understand discipline as a process of formation rooted in both love and law, clarify the Child Protection Policy, Anti-Bullying Policy, and Student Handbook, raise awareness on common discipline concerns among Junior High School students, promote consistent and child-centered discipline practices, and strengthen parent-school collaboration in safeguarding student welfare.

The LIFE Institute Mariveles successfully conducted the PEAC INSET Echoing on June 8, 2026, providing teachers with the opportunity to share key learnings, insights, and updates gained from the training.

The activity highlighted the revised curriculum, standards-based assessment practices, learner-centered teaching strategies, collaborative lesson planning, and the development of action plans for classroom implementation. Through this initiative, our educators strengthened their commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in teaching, ensuring quality learning experiences for every learner.
