Our socialization event was a meaningful gathering filled with 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 among students from different departments and year levels. It was a wonderful way to begin the school year, creating connections and cherished memories that will last throughout our academic journey.

Guided by the theme "𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮," we celebrated the beauty of our differences while strengthening the bonds that bring us together as one community. Through every conversation, shared smile, and moment to enjoy, we were reminded of the importance of unity, respect, and understanding.

Before the lessons, activities, and new experiences began, the Mary Our Help Technical Institute for Women (Cebu), Inc. family first gathered at the feet of Jesus in 𝑬𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.

In the quiet presence of the Blessed Sacrament, 𝐰𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬, 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕, asking the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 to guide us every step of the way.

The second day of orientation at 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 - 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 (𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮), 𝐈𝐧𝐜. continued to provide students with valuable knowledge and a deeper understanding of the school community as they prepare for the academic year ahead.

The day opened with an inspiring 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 by 𝐒𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐅𝐌𝐀, who reflected on being the "𝓼𝓪𝓵𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓱 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓵𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭," encouraging students to become positive influences in their families, schools, and communities.

Students were then introduced to the essential services and offices of the institution. 𝐒𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐚 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨, 𝐅𝐌𝐀, discussed the Registrar's Office protocols, while 𝐒𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐅𝐌𝐀, explained the Accounting Office procedures. 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧, school principal, also presented the Senior High School Program and the opportunities it offers for student growth and development.

The orientation continued with presentations from the school's support offices. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐘𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐳 introduced the Guidance Office and Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), while 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚 shared the mission of the Campus Ministry. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐀𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚, 𝐑𝐍, emphasized healthy habits and the services of the School Clinic.

Students also learned about campus life through the presentation of 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧 on student activities, organizations, and major school events. This was followed by 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧's discussion on the 5S & the importance of cleanliness. Lastly, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐤, the former school librarian, oriented the students on the policies and services of the School Library.

The day ended with a school tour, giving students the opportunity to explore the campus and become more familiar with their new learning environment.

A new school year has officially begun at 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 - 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 (𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮), 𝐈𝐧𝐜., marking the start of another 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.

The day commenced with a meaningful prayer, setting a spirit of gratitude and hope for the year ahead. This was followed by the 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐚, 𝐅𝐌𝐀, who warmly welcomed the students and inspired them to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The students were also 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐌𝐀 𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 who will accompany them throughout their educational journey.

The school community then met the 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 through the presentation led by 𝐒𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐅𝐌𝐀 Students were likewise introduced to the rich 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, deepening their understanding of the school's identity and commitment to holistic education.

To ensure a safe and orderly learning environment, 𝐌𝐝𝐦. 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐲 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 conducted an orientation on the school's disciplinary policies for both new and returning students. The day concluded with the 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬 and the distribution of student accounts, equipping learners with the digital tools needed for a productive and engaging academic year.
