Every 13th day of the month, the Salesian family around the world remembers and celebrates St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello, our beloved co-foundress. Today is even more special because, together with our monthly commemoration of Mother Mazzarello, we also celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The heart of Mary is a heart full of love, faith, and trust in God. Mother Mazzarello learned from Mary how to love God joyfully and how to care for young people with kindness and enthusiasm.
