We believe that every child is a child first and that all children deserve the best start in life. We believe that each child is unique and we respect their individual learning styles. These children learn by doing and participating in meaningful work. We cap
italize on the child’s emerging abilities and strengths, and assist the child to develop functional skills. It is our commitment to implement the best evidence-based practices in the field of early childhood education, early childhood intervention and special education. The school activities aim to enhance each child’s natural curiosity to discover new things. Our planned daily activities are flexible enough for children to pursue their own interests. They are given time to experiment, explore, dream and create while they are with their friends. Learning takes place as young children touch and manipulate things, interact with people and share their thoughts about their experiences. This is carried out through our “HANDS–ON” approach, which emphasizes on concrete learning wherein the children actively interact with various materials, people and places, so that they have worthwhile experiences while in the center. There is emphasis on concrete learning rather than abstract learning. We aim to provide staff who have a genuine love for all children and who are committed to their profession. We are a committed team of educators and specialists who continually update ourselves by going through regular professional training and seminars. This enhances our capability to ensure the quality of service that the child and the family deserve. The staff works with children using a progressive approach in the preschool programs and a transdisciplinary service model in the early childhood intervention programs in order to provide comprehensive, consistent educational services and ensure satisfying experiences for the child and family.
