You’ve survived days you thought would break you.
You’ve handled moments you once said you couldn’t.

Look at you now.

Stronger. Wiser. Still standing.
That’s resilience. 🀍

You don’t need to react perfectly to be resilient.
Sometimes growth starts with confusion, deep breaths, and honest processing.

If you’ve been hard on yourself lately, this post is for you. Swipe through.

I didn’t expect my first post this year to start with tears.

I was given a new designation, and I don’t feel happy about it..
I cried in frustration.

My mind kept spinning. I told them I didn’t want this. It feels unfair. I’m not the best person for the role. It means more work, less time, and all I really wanted was space to breathe.

And yes, the question came: π‘Ύπ’‰π’š π’Žπ’†? 𝑰 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒐.

Here’s an unpopular thought about resilience: it doesn’t always look brave at first. Sometimes it looks like resistance. Sometimes it sounds like, β€œThis is hard. I don’t want this.”

At first, I tried to correct myself. I told myself I shouldn’t feel this way because I teach resilience. But the more I pushed my feelings away, the heavier everything felt. So I paused and chose to be gentler with myself. I allowed myself to feel disappointed, tired, and overwhelmed, without judging myself.

Later that day, I felt more calm.
The emotions were still big, but they no longer controlled me.
I’m not fully ready, and maybe that’s okay. I’m slowly choosing acceptance.
Maybe courage is not about wanting the role, maybe it’s about growing into it. Maybe this is another space where I will grow, even if it wasn’t the space I asked for.

Do you ever feel this too? When life hands you something heavy while your hands are already full?
Like you want to say, β€œTama na muna”..

It’s okay. You’re not weak for feeling overwhelmed. We do not advocate for resilience that shames people for being tired. Resilience is not pretending you’re okay.
π‘Ήπ’†π’”π’Šπ’π’Šπ’†π’π’„π’† π’Šπ’” π’‡π’†π’†π’π’Šπ’π’ˆ π’†π’—π’†π’“π’šπ’•π’‰π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π’”π’•π’Šπ’π’ π’…π’†π’„π’Šπ’…π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒕𝒐 π’Žπ’π’—π’† π’‡π’π’“π’˜π’‚π’“π’… π’˜π’Šπ’•π’‰ π’„π’π’Žπ’‘π’‚π’”π’”π’Šπ’π’, π’†π’”π’‘π’†π’„π’Šπ’‚π’π’π’š 𝒇𝒐𝒓 π’šπ’π’–π’“π’”π’†π’π’‡.

To anyone who feels unready for what was given to them: maybe growth doesn’t wait for perfect timing. Maybe it arrives when we least want it, but need it the most.

Hello, 2026. I’m still learning, still growing, still becoming.

Let’s embrace real resilience, the kind that allows us to feel and still continue. Aja! Aja!

You don’t need more hours in a day. You need to stop leaking the ones you already have.

Save this post if you’re ready to manage your capacity, not just your calendar.
