The PEAC joins the nation in celebrating the 128th anniversary of Philippine Independence. We honor all who have served our nation for peace, progress, and a Philippine education that will lead to national development and a better quality of life for all Filipinos.

There will be no work and classes on the following dates:

Friday, June 12, is a regular holiday in celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Anniversary.

Thursday, June 18, is a special non-working day in celebration of the 78th Naga City Charter Anniversary.

The PEAC strongly urges the immediate approval of the Basic Education Voucher Program Act that will be critical in strengthening access to quality education and ensuring the continuity of government assistance for millions of Filipino learners, most especially the expansion of the subsidy program to include K-6 learners.

The PEAC has consistently supported the proposed legislation and emphasized the importance of sustaining policy direction, preserving implementation continuity, and ensuring institutional stability that will contribute to the long-term success of the program.
