Bicol Society of Public Administration- Naga College Foundation Chapter

𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗢𝗦: 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗟 📚

Public service is not always found in offices, titles, or speeches. Sometimes, it looks like students spending their Saturday mornings with children, choosing to show up in communities where learning, patience, and presence matter most.

On May 23, volunteers from the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 – 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, together with the officers and members of the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, assisted the 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. – 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 during the conduct of the 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 at San Jose West, Canaman, Camarines Sur under 𝗢𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗢𝗦: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗔𝗚-𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗟.

Through interactive learning activities and community engagement, volunteers helped facilitate sessions focused on basic mathematical operations and literacy assessment among elementary pupils in a more engaging and supportive environment.

Study kits and school supplies prepared by 𝗡𝗖𝗙-𝗖𝗘𝗦 were also distributed to the pupils, with BSPA officers, members, and CAS-CES volunteers extending assistance during the distribution activity.

Beyond the photos and documentation, activities like these reflect what community engagement and public service should be—𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱.

As future public servants, may we continue to understand that service is not measured by recognition, but by the willingness to show up, engage, and contribute meaningfully within the communities we serve.
