๐ก BLSโACLS TIP OF THE DAY!
Donโt Stop After the Shockโก
After delivering a shock with an AED or defibrillator, immediately resume CPR.Do not pause to check for a pulse or look for signs of life unless instructed by the device or during the next rhythm analysis.
Many rescuers make the mistake of stopping after a shock, but the heart often needs continued high-quality CPR to restore effective circulation.
Remember: A shock is not the finish lineโit's part of the resuscitation process.
๐ Shock. Compress. Repeat. Save a Life.

๐ก BTMC TIP OF THE DAY!
Hands Off the Impaled Objectโ ๏ธ
If a trauma patient has an impaled object (such as metal, wood, or glass) stuck in the body, do NOT remove it in the field. The object may be helping to control bleeding by putting pressure on damaged blood vessels.
Instead, stabilize the object with bulky dressings, minimize movement, and transport the patient for definitive care.
Remember: Removing an impaled object outside a controlled medical setting can cause severe bleeding and worsen the injury.
๐ฉน Stabilize it. Protect it. Leave removal to the experts.

๐ก BTMC TIP OF THE DAY!
The Silent Danger of Shock
A trauma patient may look fine at first, but shock can develop quickly and quietly. Be alert for early warning signs such as restlessness, anxiety, pale or cool skin, rapid breathing, and a weak, fast pulse.
Don't wait for blood pressure to drop before suspecting shock. Early recognition and prompt management can significantly improve patient outcomes.
Remember:Shock is often easier to prevent than to reverse.
