𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: 𝑨 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑.

Being one of the youngest participants in the SLTC 2026, I was not expecting to be appointed as the leader of our team. At first, I felt nervous, having to lead a team full of my seniors, who have had much more experience than me. I thought that they should have been appointed rather than me because they were older, more experienced, and had better leadership skills than I did. Though, I knew that somehow, I had to step up and have confidence in myself since I was given the role and responsibility of being a leader despite my inexperience and young age.

At the end of the SLTC 2026, I realized that it's not about age, experience, or role. It was about taking initiative, and accepting the responsibility that was placed upon me. It was not about me being the youngest, inexperienced member, but about me taking initiative and responsibility as the team leader. I recall fully expressing my ideas and thoughts without a hint of hesitation. I would also like to acknowledge my team members, my seniors, for allowing me to take charge and learn as a student leader. Thank you for giving me space to grow and develop new skills that will help me lead our organization.

This SLTC 2026 has taught me to take accountability, take initiative, and lead with dedication to serve. It has set my development and growth into being a student leader for the incoming academic year. Thank you to our facilitators, and my fellow camp participants. Thank you to the wonderful experience that taught me many lessons on how to become a better student leader for the SHS community.

As I move forward to lead the PATTS Senior High Council, I embed in me the lessons, skills, meaningful friendships and memories from the SLTC 2026. I put my trust in God and His guidance to become the best leader I can be, to serve with passion, and lead with dedication.

Last 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was held in line with the 57th Founding Anniversary.

Different sections from the Senior High School department participated and showcased their talents, creativity, and teamwork through dynamic dance performances that truly embodied the theme, “Beyond 2000: Rhythm in the Clouds.”
