𝙆𝙃𝙎 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙘𝙠-𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙇, 𝙎𝘼𝙍𝙋, 𝙎𝙃𝙎𝙍𝙋 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨

Kapitolyo High School officially launched the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, Summer Academic Remedial Program (SARP), and Senior High School Remediation Program (SHSRP) on May 6, 2026, at the KHS Covered Court. The programs aim to help learners improve their academic performance, strengthen reading and language skills, and address learning gaps through academic intervention and recovery classes. The activity was attended by Junior and Senior High School learners.

The Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, aligned with the Department of Education’s learning recovery initiatives, focuses on learners who are identified as “Not Proficient,” “Low Proficient,” or under the “Frustration” reading level, with the goal of helping them achieve grade-level proficiency and improve their literacy skills. Meanwhile, the Summer Academic Remedial Program (SARP) aims to assist struggling learners in addressing learning gaps, strengthening foundational skills, and building confidence as preparation for the next grade level. The program primarily caters to students who were given a “Conditionally Promoted” status after failing one or two subjects. On the other hand, the Senior High School Remediation Program (SHSRP) is designed to support Senior High School learners through reading intervention, academic enhancement activities, and competency-based remediation to help improve their overall academic performance.

The kick-off program started with the welcome remarks of Mrs. Melanie Songuad, who encouraged students to participate actively and make the most of the opportunity to improve their learning.

The purpose and goals of the ARAL, SARP, and SHSRP programs were discussed by Mr. Elmer Advincula. He emphasized that the programs are intended to strengthen students’ competencies, improve comprehension and communication skills, and promote continuous learning among learners.

Meanwhile, Mr. Philip Lopez explained the rules, regulations, and monitoring of attendance to ensure discipline and active participation throughout the implementation of the programs.

The class schedules and classroom assignments for Junior High School students were presented by Ms. Carmen Joy G. Bordeos, while Ms. Kristel Mae Chavez presented those for Senior High School students.

The activity concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Mrs. Maria Lourdes Espino, who thanked everyone for their support and participation in the successful launching of the programs.

2. Maayos na pumila malapit sa E-Library sa unang palapag ng Senior High School building para sa encoding ng kinakailangang impormasyon.

3. Pagkatapos, pumila nang maayos sa basketball covered court para sa pagpasa ng requirements, pagkuha ng inyong enrollment slip at iba pang proseso.

Araw ng Pagtatapos: Pagpaparangal sa Talino at Husay ng Batang Kapitolyans

“I am not the loudest voice in the room and I am definitely not the most confident speaker. But today, I'm here as proof that quiet people like me can dream big, work hard, and shine with competence and character,” ito ang tumatak na linya mula sa talumpati ng Batch Valedictorian na si Charlene Vinluan mula sa 12-ABM 1 sa ginanap na Araw ng Pagtatapos kahapon, March 27, 2026 sa Kapitolyo High School.

Ito ay may temang “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang May Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao” na sumasalamin sa panibagong landas na tatahakin ng mga estudyanteng nagsipagtapos.

Ang nasabing seremonya ay dinaluhan ng mga panauhin mula sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon at SDO Officials na pinangunahan nina SGOD Chief Dr. Victor M. Javeña, Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Rolando C. Julian, kinatawan mula sa Lokal na Pamahalaan na pinangunahan nina Congressman Roman T. Romulo, Pasig City Vice Mayor Dudut Jaworski, at Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto.

Sa talumpati ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, kanyang binigyang diin ang kahulugan ng sablay na nakasuot sa mga magsisipagtapos.

“Ako ay graduate ng Kapitolyo High School at dahil sa akin, umaagos ang pag-asa sa Pasig,” paliwanag niya sa kabuuang mensahe ng sablay.

Bilang pagtatapos ng programa, sabay-sabay inawit ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang Graduation Song na “Simula” at sinundan naman ng Oath of Loyalty na pinangunahan ni Leila Reyes mula sa 12-STEM 1.

Ang pagtatapos na ito ay isang panibagong simula na huhubog sa talino, kakayahan, at karakter ng bawat mag-aaral.

Kapitolyo High School, Humakot ng ginto sa 31st DSPC Group Category

Kapitolyo High School, nag-uwi ng gintong medalya mula sa ginanap na 31st Division Schools Press Conference Group Category kahapon, Pebrero 6, 2026 sa Pasig Elementary School.

Pinangunahan ito ng Online Publishing-Filipino Team na nagkamit ng unang gantimpala.

Ito ay sinundan naman ng Radio Broadcasting-English Team na nag-uwi rin ng unang gantimpala.

Kasabay nito ang pagsungkit sa iba’t ibang parangal na kinapapalooban ng Best Script, Best Technical Director, Best News Anchor, Best News Presenter, at Best Infomercial.

Ang dalawang grupo ay kwalipikado para sa gaganaping Regional Schools Press Conference sa Marso kung saan sila ang magiging kinatawan ng Pasig City sa mga nasabing kategorya.

Samantala, nasungkit naman ng Radio Broadcasting-Filipino Team ang ikalimang pwesto sa naturang kompetisyon.
