The tassels have been turned, the awards have been received, and a new chapter is about to begin!

Last week’s 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 celebrated these hardworking students not only for their academic achievements, but also for how they have grown in character and faith at LAI.

Following an encouraging charge from Dr. Uwe Maurer, we celebrated these students’ year of hard work and growth through the recognition of their achievements, the awarding of diplomas, and heartfelt messages from their mentors and leaders who have cheered them on every step of the way.

As they move forward to the next chapter of their academic journey, our prayer is that they will remain rooted in Christ and pursue His calling for their lives.

Congratulations, Grade 10 and Grade 12! The future is ahead of you, but more importantly, God goes before you!

This week, we held our 𝐋𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 to celebrate our students' hard work, leadership, and Christ-like character. Guided by our theme, 𝑅𝑜𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡, 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝑃𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑒, these ceremonies were a celebration of lives shaped, talents developed, and character strengthened both inside and outside the classroom this school year.

Congratulations to those who were recognized, and congratulations to all our students for the growth you've shown and the leaders you are becoming in and for Christ.

Behind the small caps and gowns are growing hearts and bright futures for our LAI preschoolers!

This week, we celebrated our 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, honoring our young learners as they completed another stage of their educational journey. Guided by our theme, 𝑅𝑜𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡, 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝑃𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑒, the program celebrated our preschoolers' academic growth and reflected how God has been at work in their tiny hearts throughout the school year.

One of the most touching moments of the event was when parents received special messages from their children. Through their simple but sincere expressions of gratitude, our preschoolers reminded us that some of life's greatest lessons begin with thankful hearts.

Congratulations to all our preschool students! We thank Jesus for your growth, your joyful spirit, and the wonderful humans He is shaping you to become!

Congratulations to LAI alumnus Brenton Wong (Batch 2023–2024), the very first Rubik’s Cube Philippine Olympic Champion.

History was made when Brenton became the very first National Champion of the very first-ever Philippine Olympic 2026 for Speedcubing at the Philippine National Open 2026, organized by the Asian Mind Sports Association (AMSA) in cooperation with the City of Tagaytay and the Philippine Olympic Committee.

What makes this achievement even more inspiring is the journey behind it. In his first speedcubing competition in 2017, Brenton placed last. Instead of giving up, he continued to learn, practice, and improve. Nearly a decade later, that same determination has led him to the top and into the history books.

Brenton’s story reminds us that where you begin does not determine where you can go. Through hard work, perseverance, and God's grace, remarkable things are possible!

Your LAI family is incredibly proud of you, Brenton. Congratulations on this historic achievement.

Before going up the graduation stage, our Grade 12 students and their parents gathered for a time of recognition, prayer, and commissioning at their Baccalaureate Service and Commencement Exercises. We celebrated not only what these students have accomplished, but also who they are becoming: 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐦.

This special gathering also reminded them that while their season at LAI may be coming to a close, God's purpose for their lives is only beginning to unfold.

Congratulations, our dearest Class of 2026. May you continue to walk boldly in faith and pursue the calling God has prepared for you.

Most children learn to read books. Our preschoolers decided to write them, too! 🙂

Last week, our Preschool Department held its annual Book Launch and Exhibit, 𝑹𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒅 & 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈, in line with this school year's theme, 𝑅𝑜𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡, 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝑃𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑒.

On this day, our preschool families gathered to celebrate the creativity of our youngest learners through musical performances, video presentations, student artwork, and special book exhibits.

Our Pre-Nursery and Nursery students proudly showcased their alphabet books featuring animals, while our Kindergarten students presented self-authored storybooks centered on kindness, bravery, perseverance, and faith. Every page reflected not only what they have learned, but also the confidence and character being nurtured in a Christ-centered environment.

Congratulations to all our Preschool learners! This may be their first book launch, but we have a feeling it's only the beginning of many wonderful stories God will write through their lives.
