𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 | 𝗣𝗦𝗬 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆

The election for the Presidency of the Psychological Synergy of the Youth (PSY) concluded with a tie in the number of votes received by the candidates.

In accordance with the COMELEC By-Laws, a coin toss was conducted to break the tie and determine the winning candidate. The procedure was held at the SSO Office under the supervision of Dr. Baguio and Ma’am Daniel to ensure transparency, fairness, and fairness throughout the process.

Following the official coin toss, 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹, 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗮 of the 𝗣𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗔𝗚 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 was declared the winner of the Presidential race.

We extend our congratulations to the winning candidate and our sincere appreciation to all candidates, voters, and members who participated in this democratic process.

📢 𝘼𝙉𝙉𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏

The proclamation of the elected 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏 for the 𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙂𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙎 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙎𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀𝙎 is temporarily on hold due to a tie in the election results, with both candidates receiving an equal number of votes.

In accordance with Article XI, Section 5 of the COMSELEC Constitution and By-Laws, a special meeting shall be conducted on Monday with the concerned candidates. Faculty representatives will be present as witnesses during the proceedings, wherein a drawing of lots will be held to determine the duly elected President.

The COMSELEC remains committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and impartial electoral process. Further updates shall be released following the conclusion of the special meeting.
