𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔 𝗭𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗦 | Zambales, Handa na sa Pagdating ng 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree sa Disyembre

BOTOLAN, Zambales — Kasado na ang lahat ng paghahanda ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Zambales para sa nalalapit na 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree na gaganapin mula Disyembre 14 hanggang 21 sa 62-ektaryang Kainomayan Camp sa Barangay San Juan, Botolan.

Ayon kay Botolan Mayor Omar Ebdane, mahigpit at maayos na ang nakalatag na seguridad para sa isang linggong pagtitipon na dadaluhan ng tinatayang 30,000 Boy Scouts mula sa iba’t ibang bansa sa Asia-Pacific region. Tiniyak ng lokal na pamahalaan na prayoridad ang kaligtasan ng lahat ng kalahok, bisita, at residente sa buong panahon ng Jamboree.

Samantala, ipinahayag naman ni Engr. Domingo Mariano, Provincial Consultant on Infrastructure ng Zambales, na “all systems go” na ang buong campsite matapos maisagawa ang malawakang pagsasaayos ng lugar. Sa loob lamang ng mahigit isang daang araw, at sa kabila ng apat na malalakas na bagyong dumaan, matagumpay na naitayo at naihanda ang pitong sub-campsites na binubuo ng dalawampu’t apat (24) na oras na operasyon bawat isa.

Bilang bahagi ng preparasyong pang-imprastruktura, limang kilometro ng mga kalsada ang inayos, limang tulay ang isinailalim sa rehabilitasyon, at mahigit 1,500 shower rooms at comfort rooms ang itinayo upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng libu-libong Scout na lalahok sa malaking pagtitipon.

Hindi rin nakaligtaan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ang paghahanda sa mga posibleng kalamidad. Nakahanda na rin ang mga contingency measures laban sa anumang banta ng masamang panahon, kabilang ang mga posibleng bagyo, upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng lahat sa buong tagal ng pandaigdigang aktibidad.

Ang 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree ay inaasahang hindi lamang magtatampok ng pagkakaisa at diwa ng Scouting, kundi magbibigay rin ng malaking sigla sa turismo at ekonomiya ng Zambales.
