Thousands of Filipinos gathered at what is dubbed as the "Trillion Peso March" to protest against the largest corruption in Philippine's history, with reports indicating that over โ‚ฑ1.9 trillion (US$33 billion) was spent over the past 15 years. Half of which are allegedly lost to CORRUPTION.

Prostesters gathered at Rizal Park in Manila and Edsa People Power Monument on September 21. Both the venue and time coincide with the 53rd anniversary of the declaration of martial law made by BBM's father, Ferdinand Marcos Sr., who was a dictator back in the early 1970s to mid-1980s. This makes the march more than just a protest, but a symbolic battle of Filipinos against corruption.

President Bongbong Marcos responded to these protests, stating, "If I weren't president, I might be out on the streets with them." This statement was met with criticism from the public for its passive response to a crisis that demanded transparency.

As Filipinos, we must demand more than just words. We must demand action and accountability against ghost projects, broken promises, and corruption that steals from our future. It's our right as citizens to a proper government.

Hunger and Poverty remains as one of the most prevalent social issue in the Philippines, affecting millions of people everyday. These numbers are not just statistics, they represent the cries for help of those who go to sleep every night with an empty stomach.

โ€ผ๏ธEnding hunger and poverty begins with awareness and compassion. In a world where ignorance and corruption runs rampant, kindness can be the seed of change.

Together, we can break this cycle. One meal, one life, one person at a time. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Our government has already launched thousands of Flood Control Projects over the past decade โ€” yet not a single one is being felt, many Filipinos still continue to suffer every time there is a typhoon. These projects were launched to improve our countryโ€” instead it gave us massive economic losses โ€” losing billions worth of money that was supposed to be used for us.

These projects were meant to bring progress and security, but what have we truly gained? Year after year, we see reports of unfinished infrastructures, substandard materials, and questionable contracts.

Flood control was supposed to be a symbol of โ€œPAGASAโ€, hope for a safer future. Instead, it has become a painful reminder of โ€œPAASAโ€, false promises. The billions meant to save lives have seemingly drowned in corruption, inefficiency, and lack of accountability.

So when? When can we truly say that these projects are no longer ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—”๐—ฆ๐—” but ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—š๐—”๐—ฆ๐—”?

Platforms such as social media are streaky. They can be unreliable and reliable all at once. Despite that, such potential to learn about the truth is at a sky-high with this platform such in the case with raising awareness regarding social issues like the ๐‘น๐’Š๐’๐’•๐’” ๐’‚๐’• ๐‘ด๐’†๐’๐’…๐’Š๐’๐’๐’‚.

Mt. 6:1-6, 16-18

Jesus said to his disciples:
โ€œTake care not to perform righteous deeds
in order that people may see them;
otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father.
When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you,
as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets
to win the praise of others.
Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But when you give alms,
do not let your left hand know what your right is doing,
so that your almsgiving may be secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

โ€œWhen you pray, do not be like the hypocrites,
who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners
so that others may see them.
Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door,
and pray to your Father in secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

โ€œWhen you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites.
They neglect their appearance,
so that they may appear to others to be fasting.
Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,
so that you may not appear to others to be fasting,
except to your Father who is hidden.
And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you.โ€

Mt 5:43-48

Jesus said to his disciples:
"You have heard that it was said,
You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father,
for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,
and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have?
Do not the tax collectors do the same?
And if you greet your brothers only,
what is unusual about that?
Do not the pagans do the same?
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Mt. 5: 38-42

Jesus said to his disciples:
"You have heard that it was said,
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil.
When someone strikes you on your right cheek,
turn the other one to him as well.
If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic,
hand him your cloak as well.
Should anyone press you into service for one mile,
go with him for two miles.
Give to the one who asks of you,
and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow."
