The 𝗞𝗧𝗧𝗢-𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗡𝗫𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 was successfully held last May 7, 2026, at the UP BGC-Henry Sy Sr. Hall, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

As part of the “KTTO-IMPACT Learning and Preparatory Program for Technology Transfer of HEIRIT Universities” under the IMPACT NXT Program, the event gathered university leaders and stakeholders from DOST-supported institutions across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to strengthen knowledge and technology transfer initiatives, innovation portfolios, and research commercialization efforts.

The program featured the Presidents Forum on sustainable technology transfer frameworks for research commercialization, alongside Commercial Readiness Workflow workshops aimed at equipping KTTOs in facilitating the market entry of research-based products and services.

Last November at Midas Hotel, rooms were filled with more than presentations — they were filled with conversations, connections, and shared intent.

As part of the Department of Science and Technology – One Town, One Business Incubator (1TBI) initiative, this gathering brought together regional teams, institutions, and partners to align how incubation works on the ground — not in silos, but as a network.

From discussions to quiet hallway exchanges, the work was simple but critical: build common language, strengthen relationships, and move innovation together.

Grateful to be part of the conversations that don’t always make it to the stage — but make everything else possible.

Late post, but a key chapter in our 2025 Wrapped.
The BMPMF Kickoff last June 19 marked the start of focused work to prepare research technologies for industry engagement, licensing pathways, and real-world adoption.

Through onboarding sessions, alignment on expectations, and early conversations around industry fit, pilots, and adoption routes, research teams, mentors, and institutions began shaping what would later become many of our licensing and partnership discussions for the year.

One kickoff. Many pathways.
Definitely part of what made our 2025 Siklab story move forward. ▶️✨
