Senior High School Students from Quezon City High School marched foward with excitement, as they graduate; a true milestone accomplished by them, standing with their parents and peers on stage.
Conducted earlier this day, March 30, Monday at the QCHS New Covered Court, the event brought together graduating students along with faculty members, honorary guests, parents/ guardians to celebrate years of hard work and perseverance.
The event started with a warm welcome, led by the Masters of Ceremony, Maโam Ruby Rose Casingal and Mr. Nico Calleja, teachers from the English and Filipino Department.
Dr. Remedios P. Danao together with the hardworking District Supervisor, Dr. Leo Angeles led the presentation of graduates and confirmation of all SHS present.
Moving forward, the event featured the awarding of certificates as well as top performing students who excelled in their academic journey. Cheers of students were also heard as each batchmate went up the stage to receive the diploma and certificate.
Afterwards, inspirational messages were given to students in recognizing their efforts in successfully accomplishing their 2-year SHS Journey. Secretary of DepEd, Hon. Sonny Angara was first through an Audio Visual Presentation, followed by Hon. Mayor of Quezon City, Mayor Joy A. Belmonte, Congressman of District IV, Hon. Jesus Manuel โBongโ Suntay, and lastly Councilor of District IV, Hon. Egay Yap.
At the latter part of the event, Farewell Message and Pledge of Loyalty was given and led by Ms. Robigail Ravarez, student with High Honors; in representing her journey as one with students, and in pledge of their loyalty to their alma mater.
As the ceremony concluded, Mr. Christopher Dela Cruz led the singing of the graduating batchโs hymn, โWe made it throughโ followed by the QCHS Hymn. Finally, the program ended with the recessional.
The event was not only made to recognize students' effort but also their teachers who tirelessly helped and guided them in their journey, and in pursuit of developing them and preparing them for the real world ahead. Their SHS journey has ended officially, and they will now march forward with their own two feet carrying the lessons taught by experience, in the hope of making a change in our society.
Congratulations, SHS Graduates!๐ โจ

โ Under the bright lights of the QCHS Covered Court, Friday, March 27 became a day of joy and wonder as Safe Schools Philippines, led by Chairwoman Dr. Arlene Escalante-Eluwa, together with QCHS SPTA officers and parents, celebrated the achievements and hard work of young STE minds with a Thanksgiving Party, in partnership with the National Youth Commission, through Usec. Joseph Francisco Ortega as the special guest. Hosted by Sir John Ephraim Clemen and Ma'am Edeliza V. Papa.
โ
โ The party kicked off with a nationalistic song and a heartfelt prayer. It flowed like a story, mixing excitement and honor. Starting from delicious treats, thrilling performances from each STE section, onto games that got everyone moving, and from student challenges to teacher showdowns. Awards honored top achievers, including the Magnus Diem and Elite Circle of Excellence. Mr. Blue Jazer Bausa and Ms. Doha Passion were crowned Spark and Shine King and Queen.
โ
โ As the court lights fade, Mr. Jon-jon Encomienda led the closing remarks with a bright day ahead. The party may have ended, but it surely left lots of memories that will surely last forever. This wasnโt just an end, but a new beginning. With certificates in hand and memories glowing, students carried forward the party's promiseโto keep sparking, shining, and turning dreams into reality.

๐s the sun sets and caps start to fly, thereโs a deep sense of nostalgia that lingers to each and everyone. A feeling of such an abundant joy. But even if happiness stands proud, the gloom of sadness starts to take effect, as you stand and realize that even the birds that flock together, their feathers start to drift and go to new heathers.
High School is a stage where most people state, โIt is something to be rememberedโ.It was the second home of students, where they experience their firsts and develop themselves into better individual. A home where many express their real self, and where bond of friendship is shared and keep sacred.
High School life is a treasure of the past, and the life lived by the present. The lessons taught by teachers, and the unforgettable moments are what makes it special.
But how does something you hold and cared for gets loose and change?
๐ฝ๐ ๐๐พ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐พ๐๐ผ๐๐พ๐
Everything in this world is unhinged, no matter what- change is constant in our universe. And one of those is graduating.
The Scars of those senior, who will left their home for over 6 years, now will transfer to their new nests. The bleed that flows through the cuts that change can make is inevitable. The crimson blood, that which looked closer is filled with core memories.
The cries of the completer from the students of Junior High, that for over 4 years time will now sure to make them face reality. Growth starts to make a realization, maturity is now knocking within their doors.
Scars are made when someone gets cut deep with something, yet other scars are made in school where they meet the unexpected. But scars are symbol of independence, which means a person can overtake the challenges and problems that fate gave, and chances are made to make dreams come true.
Even if destiny left you the scars, those scars are your memorable journey- for the chances to make something, for you and others life to be better. The Chance for the Seniors and Junior to take another step in accomplishing a life long academic roller coaster. The Chance to rise and be on top- to reach the pinnacle of the stars they dreamt to reach.
But scars and chances are nothing, when goodbyes makes you blue.
๐๐ค๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐๐๐ฎ๐
Itโs really sad to say goodbye to the friends youโve been with for such many years. The tests youโve been through together made yourselves stronger than ever. But God always has a plan for everyone- and the pathway you take can differ from another.
Through thick and thin, the circle ignites the spark that no one can ever take. From Hell weeks to standing on podiums- both which take apart was challenged and triumphant, and for now and forever itโs the goodbye that both suffer from.
๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ช, ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐.
And then the time has come, for the group to take the path for their dreams to turn into reality. The chance for the better and the hope to make the change for themselves.
No matter what happens, the lessons of the past must continue to the present and future high schoolers. Change is constant, and it is not a loss to take something for yourself: you can never be stuck in a mud for too long, or else you wouldnโt get cleaned.
For the memories made, and the bond experienced by each student. High School is surely the best stage for many- but let us all be reminded that we can never really erase the โmissingโ something, yet it is up to us if we want to stick or leave. It was never really a โgoodbyeโ, it was always a โsee you, laterโ, and it was the gains we have that we hope to be with each other until the end of time. Thank you, My Friend.
Congratulations, Quezonians! Padayon School Year 2025-2026, Thanks be to God! ๐๐ฅณ
