The BINHI Class (“Bokasyon Ipinagkaloob Ni Hesus at Ipinagkatiwala”), currently undergoing their spiritual-pastoral formation year (SPFY), began their 30-day Ignatian retreat yesterday, January 5, at the Sacred Heart Novitiate.

Let us accompany them with our prayers and wishes that this "close encounter" with the Lord will bear much and lasting fruit in their lives.

Fr. Nicasio D. Cruz, SJ (1929-2017) | Philippine Jesuits 10/12/2017

Fr. Nicasio D. Cruz, SJ studied for two years at the San Jose Minor Seminary (1945-46) and served there as assistant spiritual director, and teacher of Latin, Drama, and English Literature, and moderator of The Ambassador (1967-72).

He also became part of the San Jose Seminary College Department community at the north wing of Loyola House of Studies as spiritual director (1972-82) and director (1981-82).

Fr. Nicasio D. Cruz, SJ (1929-2017) | Philippine Jesuits This is to inform you that FR. NICASIO D. CRUZ, S. J. died this morning in Cardinal Santos Medical Center, San Juan. Fr. Cruz, 88, entered the Society on 30 May 1947 and was ordained a priest on 19 June 1960. Requiescat in pace.
