Core Skills Therapy Center will be joining the THERAFREE Program of the College of Allied Medical Professions, University of the Philippines-Manila in celebration of CAMP’s 63rd Foundation Anniversary and 60th Foundation Anniversary of the CAMP Alumni Association. Kindly see below for details.

As the program to be provided requires in-person assessment and training, we will only be accepting applications from individuals who would be able to travel to our center’s location (Quezon City).

However, if you are from the provinces and you have limited access to speech-language therapy services in your area, you may also sign-up. We will accommodate a limited number of individuals for tele-consult and online training.

Good day! We are inviting Everyone (Parents/Caregivers, Medical and Health Professionals, Educators & Allied Health Professionals) to join our PSDBP FREE PARENTING WEBINAR entitled ”Building Strong Foundations: Practical Parenting Strategies to Support Development, Behavior and Emotional Well-Being from Early Childhood Onwards.”

It is an honor for us to be part of the 2025 Convention of the Philippine Association of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are extremely proud of our RSLPs who actively participated in the convention. Some participated as members of the organizing committee and some were invited as speakers or reactors. But one thing is for sure, our RSLPs took this chance to further their learning in the different areas of SLP practice.

Key takeaways include actively engaging in reflective practice—being mindful & acknowledging our own biases as we plan the care of our clients. We are also reminded of the importance of contextualizing concepts and practices. As we discussed & debated on the evidence of our strategies (which are often based on western practices), we are reminded to reflect on the uniqueness of our Filipino culture.

We listen, we learn, we analyze, we discuss, we adapt, we contextualize, we grow. This is how we continue to provide the best and effective service to the children under our care.
