Ngayong Mayo Uno, ang UP Geodetic Engineering Club ay nakikiisa sa buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng mga Manggagawa.

Ang araw na ito ay higit pa sa pagpupugay; ito ay isang panawagan para sa tunay na pagkilala sa halaga ng bawat pawis at pagod. Binibigyang-diin natin ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino sa disente at ligtas na trabaho, makatarungang sahod, at boses sa loob ng lipunan.

Sa gitna ng mga hamon ng ating panahon, nawa’y manatiling matatag ang ating pagkakaisa para sa isang kinabukasan kung saan walang manggagawa ang naiiwan. Unahin ang kapakanan ng masang gumagawa.

On April 9, we annually remember the courage and sacrifice of Filipinos and Allied soldiers who stood with unwavering resolve during the Battle of Bataan, proving one’s true heroism conquers even at the brink of adversity.

As we commemorate their legacy, we renew our duty to uphold the values they fought for freedom, resilience, and love of country.

Here’s to standing our ground, choosing bravery, and honoring sacrifices that shaped our nation. May their courage inspire us in standing firm for what is right, and to build a nation worthy of their sacrifice. Legacies truly worth mapping.
