[INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE-ORSP]
"The current situation has prevented the ORSP from mounting its regular activities but has not deterred it from mounting a virtual conference for the Association of Asia Pacific Operations Research Societies. This will happen from September 23 to 25 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Manila time.
We wanted to give the opportunity to our students to listen to world leaders in the field of OR, about applications that abound all over the world. The plenary speakers from the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific will talk about their experiences and the benefits of OR. Also, there will be speakers from all over the Asia Pacific region who will present their national contributions on the second day. Philippine applications will be highlighted on the third day.
The above will more than makeup for the unavailability of the Technical Forum that we had traditionally held at the Ateneo University. The good news is that for the three days, each student could register for only P200.00 which could be paid through GCash."
