DOCES Magisters gathered at St. Joseph Catholic School, Inc. for a send-off prayer before embarking on the Alay Lakad Pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo.

This pilgrimage is a sacred journey of faith and devotion, offering an opportunity for the Magisters to renew their hearts, deepen their relationship with God, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one school family. As we walk with Mary, we entrust to the Lord our hopes, intentions, and prayers, seeking His grace and guidance in our mission as Catholic educators.

𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘 | DOCES Magisters attended the seminar “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: 𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗘𝗟 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀” on June 4, 2026, at the Interactive Media Center of Immaculate Conception Cathedral School.

Facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗩. 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 of 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘍𝘢𝘮 𝘗𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴, the seminar highlighted the role of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in building resilient, inclusive, and supportive classroom environments. Participants gained practical strategies for addressing behavioral challenges and promoting learners' holistic well-being.

The activity was followed by orientations on the programs and initiatives of the Center for Student Services. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗵𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘋𝘖𝘊𝘌𝘚 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, presented the center's programs and activities for the school year, while 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘇, 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵, discussed the 𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 and its key policies for ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

On May 28, the DOCES Center for Christian Formation Team participated in a faith-filled day of Christian formation through The Mt. Tabor Experience, spearheaded by Manila Archdiocesan and Parochial Schools Association (MAPSA) at Pasig Catholic College.

A meaningful day of formation and reflection was highlighted by the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Fr. Carlo Magno Marcelo, who emphasized that gifts are given to strengthen the Church. Drawing from the example of St. Francis of Assisi, he shared how embracing poverty can itself become a gift. He also underscored the importance of listening, AUDIAM, “I will listen.”

The succeeding talks focused on Katipunan formation and social issues such as corruption and poverty. In the afternoon, Msgr. Gerry Santos shared insights and takeaways from Drawing New Maps of Hope.

The gathering provided an opportunity for spiritual renewal, reflection, fellowship, and deeper appreciation of the mission of Catholic education among educators, school leaders, and catechists from different member institutions. Inspired by the Transfiguration of the Lord, the activity encouraged participants to continue serving as faithful pilgrims and servant-leaders in nurturing Christ-centered communities.

Today, selected DOCES Magisters are attending the Course Implementation Training facilitated by TechFactors, Inc. at Plaza Garden Hotel, Baguio City.

The first day of the 3-day training highlighted the vital role of technology and human-centered innovation in shaping the future of transformative education.

The succeeding sessions will focus on course implementation and specialized training on the services offered by TechFactors, particularly in ICT and computer education across various learning areas, equipping educators with innovative strategies for a more sustainable and tech-driven learning environment.
