Belgian Days 2026

Photos from QCU Creative Student Society - LIKHA Production's post 08/06/2026

From University to Book Nook at Belgian Days!

We are incredibly proud to present this masterpiece, to represent the Belgian Corner. This piece showcases the creative ideas about Belgium's rich culture, facts, and unique architecture. With only 4 days of preparation, brainstorming concepts, finalizing designs, and navigating endless back and forth ideas (mostly during sleepless nights and in between classes in midterms!) our dedicated artists made the impossible, possible.

Through this collaboration with Belgian Days, the official turnover of this art piece to the Book Nook, transforms a simple reading corner into a space that inspires curiosity and learning. The art isn't just a backdrop, it is a bridge connecting our learners to the heart of Belgium.

Our team also had the privilege of getting to know UGEP, a leading local solar power company. They generously shared their expertise and showed incredible work on the massive solar grid installation above SM North, sparking inspiration into sustainable future!

To the brilliant artists behind this masterpiece, and the coordination of our Events Management Office, thank you for your ingenuity, your effort, and your passion. This recognition is yours!

As Creatives, we SPARK, we BUILD, we CONNECT!

The National Business Entrepreneurship Student Summit (NBESS), held on March 5, 2026, served as an umbrella event that brought together young leaders to explore their role in sustainability and economic progress. Under NBESS, the NCR Business and Entrepreneurship Conference (NBEC) featured two distinguished speakers who shared powerful insights on responsibility, resilience, and growth.

Mrs. Marife Paragas Flores, CHED NCR Supervisor II, emphasized the purpose and responsibility of young entrepreneur-students to contribute without compromising the future. She believes that students are catalysts of sustainability, having witnessed how QCIAN Entrepreneurs poured their efforts and patience into progress and growth.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jaypee Morales, President of the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc., introduced the acronym ACCEPT (Acknowledge failures, Communicate with yourself and comrades, Commit, Excel in decisions, Trust, and Pray to the Lord). He highlighted these as essential principles for stabilizing businesses. He also reminded students that rejection is not a stop sign, but rather a redirection toward moving forward.

Under NBESS, the Business Pitch Competition (BPC) showcased the creativity and resilience of QCIAN Entrepreneurs:

๐Ÿด Food Category
- 2nd Place โ€“ Coalesce Enterprise (Quezon City University)
- 1st Place โ€“ Squashringa (Bestlink College of the Philippines)
- Champion โ€“ Nostaljar (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig)

๐Ÿ’ก Non-Food Category
- 2nd Place โ€“ Alab Enterprise (Quezon City University)
- 1st Place โ€“ Avaiaa Enterprise (Quezon City University)
- Champion โ€“ Blumora Enterprise (Quezon City University)

These lessons serve as guiding principles to stay on track toward economic progression. By applying them and allowing yourself to grow from failures, you transform challenges into success.

Organized by the QCU Young Entrepreneurs Society, in collaboration with the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) and QCU College of Business, in partnership with Tanghalang Quezon City University, The QCU Times Publication, and QCU Creative Student Society - LIKHA Production.

โ€œAlam ko na ang mga QCIAN ay hindi lamang matatalino at malikhain, kundi sila rin ay mga talentadong estudyante ng QCU.โ€
โ€“ Dr. Theresita V. Atienza

Mula sa College of Computer Studies, College of Education, College of Accountancy, College of Business Administration, at College of Engineering, pinainit ng mga estudyante ang entablado sa pagpapakita ng kanilang husay sa pagsayaw. Buong puso silang sinuportahan ng kaniโ€‘kanilang departamento bilang bunga ng kanilang pagod at dedikasyon.

Talagang napatunayan ng mga estudyante ng QCU ang kanilang angking talento at husay sa larangan ng pagsayaw.
