[NEWS] May 2026 CPALE Results: UP Diliman produces 53 new CPAs; BSBAA alumnus is topnotcher.

We extend our warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to our 53 successful examinees who have officially joined the ranks of the nation's Certified Public Accountants following their exceptional performance in the May 2026 CPA Licensure Examination (CPALE), held last May 24 to 26.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results on June 2, with 3,004 out of 9,745 examinees passing the examination for a national passing rate of 30.86%. UP Diliman is the top-performing school with a passing rate of 98.15%.

Meanwhile, James Al A. Serondo is the topnotcher of the board exam with a score of 91.17%. To all our new CPAs, PADAYON!

[INVITE] Global Consumer Intelligence Online Lecture Series

Interested students are invited joining this Global Consumer Intelligence Program, a 3-month course on Data Science and AI. This is open to all UP students and is free. The website says deadline is April 2, but they extended it for UP students until April 7 (with ID registration until April 5).

[ANNOUNCEMENT] Pursuant to Memorandum No. ECLV-26-013 on UP Diliman's initial response to the crisis arising from the Iran conflict, the UP Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business (VSB) will be designating Monday as the common work-from-home day for all administrative staff. This will take effect on April 6, 2026.

However, to support classes scheduled during Mondays, a small portion of the VSB Library will remain open Mondays to Fridays, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Janitorial, security, and technical support staff will also be onsite Mondays to Fridays.

All employees on WFH status are still expected to remain reachable via official communication channels during core working hours.
