MMUC Monsoon League Day 2:

The 2nd day of MMUC Monsoon League proved to be challenging as SASY played the tough teams of Pool C with an undermanned roster.

Starting with 9 players in the morning, SASY played an efficient game with Berde converting most turnovers into quick goals and winning the game. Reinforcements arrived for the 2nd game and the team played a gritty game with PUP A, exchanging leads throughout the game. SASY closed the game strong winning by a few margin. For the last game, SASY got its first loss of the league from USO as fatigue finally kicked in for the 12-man team.

SASY joins MMUC Monsoon League 2015 at Alabang Country Club. It is a wet and wild first day as the team won their first two games in Pool C.

SASY ended their after losing to the more experienced Berde during the semifinal round, 4 to 13.

On the battle for third, Doodle Crohm had a strong start, enough to win the game even with a late surge by SASY. Game ended at 9 to 8, with DC getting a podium finish. SASY ended at 4th (out of 16) at Pool D, climbing from 9th/10th place during the end of round robin.

SASY would also like to congratulate Raijin (2nd) and DC (3rd). We are proud that 3 out of the top 4 teams in Pool D has some SASY roots and we are happy that we all did well during the Summer League. Good job everyone!

It was a indeed! SASY wins the pre-quarter and quarterfinals on today's MMUC Summer League 2015.

The underdog SASY (5th-D2) faced GPs (4th-D1) during the crossover pre-quarter games. The stifling defense of SASY proved to be a challenge as the team defeated GPs, 12-1.

SASY then meets a familiar foe in the quarterfinals, the highly resilient USO (1st-D2). It was a close game as both teams featured intense defense and quick-paced plays. SASY won the game, 10-6.

It was a lethargic Saturday as SASY lost all 3 games on the 2nd day of MMUC Summer League 2015. The team was not able to get their usual groove until the final tight game with TS losing by a point. At the end of the day, the league was a good experience, especially for the new members of the team.

SASY now stands at 3-4 W-L card at 5th position of Pool D2.
