07.2024 | I've handcrafted hundreds of crochet dolls for other children, now I'm grateful to finally create one for my own daughter.

So during the whole whirlwind of the pandemic, my crochet hooks kind of took a back seat. Life got so overwhelming that I just couldn't find the time and energy for one of my favorite hobbies.
But now that things are settling down, I am starting to get that itch to pick up the yarn again. There is really something therapeutic about pulling those loops through and watching them turn into intricate patterns.
While I was away, so much has happened. I've come to realize that taking time is essential for my well-being. It's a way to slow down, relax and remind myself of the joy this hobby brings me.
So yeah, that's where I'm at! Slowly stitching my way back, one row at a time :)

I made this doll last night inspired by the Korean series "It's Okay to Not be Okay". I couldn't find a green button so my version is blue-eyed!
