LOOK | Last May 15, 2026, Miriam College High School held a Send-Off Mass for the student participants of the Summer Overseas Attachment Programs in Australia, Canada, Japan, and Taiwan.

The meaningful gathering was attended by the student delegates, their parents, and their teacher-chaperones as the community came together in prayer and support before the students embark on their international learning journeys.

Students and parents attended a pre-departure orientation where important reminders and travel preparations were discussed. Student participants also took part in team-building activities designed to foster camaraderie, collaboration, and readiness for their overseas experience.

The event served as a celebration of faith, excellence, and global citizenship as the students prepare to represent the Miriam College community abroad.

Para sa huling pagtatanghal ng Teatro Banaag ngayong taon, minarapat naming magbahagi ng isang kuwento na sumasalamin sa mga nangyayari sa ating lipunan.

Ang kuwento ni Mang Serapio, na para sa bersyon ng Banaag ay ginawa naming Manang Serafina, na itinanghal noong Abril 15, 2026, ay maraming beses nang itinanghal sa madla ngunit matibay ang paninindigan ng mga mag-aaaral na mahalaga pa rin itong ikuwentong muli sa kasalukuyang panahon.

At tama sila. Ngunit nakalulungkot ding isipin na sa hinaba-haba na ng panahong lumipas ay marami pa ring mga ganitong kuwentong nangyayari sa ating kapuwa Pilipino lalo na sa mga walang boses gaya ng mahihirap, kababaihan at kabataan.

Ang hiling ng Teatro Banaag ay unti-unting marinig at pakinggan ang mga daing at hinaing ng mga taong ito.

Maraming salamat sa mga nanood ng dula at sa lahat ng mga tumulong upang maisabuhay itong muli at magawan ng bersiyon ng Teatro Banaag.

ALUMNI IN THE SPOTLIGHT | Dr. Ma. Amparo ‘Itto’ Agrava’s aspiration to become a physician began with a deeply personal realization: there was no health advocate within her family of lawyers. Today, she brings the same incomparable empathy as Head of the Child Neuroscience Division at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center, making a meaningful difference in the lives of countless Filipino children and their families.

In her leadership role, Dr. Agrava oversees several subspecialties, including child neurology, neurodevelopmental pediatrics, and child and adolescent psychiatry. With Dr. Itto’s wealth of expertise, she also passionately mentors the future generation of healthcare practitioners as part-time faculty at her alma mater Far Eastern University-Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation’s College of Medicine.
