For Kaye Espinosa, a Bachelor of Elementary Education student, the Green Knowledge Stewardship through the One-Hardbound Thesis and Dissertation Policy offers a more practical, student-centered approach to academic research while promoting environmental responsibility.

"The Green Knowledge Stewardship One-Hardbound Thesis and Dissertation Policy supports me as a student by making the research process more practical and efficient," Espinosa shared. "Instead of spending a lot on printed copies, more focus can be given to improving the content of the thesis."

She also emphasized the advantages of digital submission in making revisions and consultations more accessible and convenient for students and advisers alike. Beyond academic efficiency, she recognized the policy's contribution to environmental awareness by encouraging reduced paper consumption and fostering sustainable habits among BiPSUnistas.

Her testimony reflects how BiPSU continues to integrate innovation, accessibility, and sustainability into its academic processes, creating a learning environment that is both environmentally conscious and responsive to student needs.
This policy is a brainchild of University President Prof. Victor C. Caรฑezo, Jr., EdD, CHRP. According to him, the initiative reflects a broader commitment to modernizing research systems while embedding sustainability into the institutional blueprint.

On this 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, we reflect on what it means to be truly free in a rapidly evolving world. Freedom is not merely a milestone of the pastโ€”it is a continuing commitment to truth, opportunity, and nation-building.

True independence means ensuring that every Filipino has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to society. It means breaking the barriers that prevent our youth from reaching their full potential, especially those faced by solo parents striving to provide for their families, first-generation learners pursuing dreams beyond their circumstances, persons with disabilities seeking equal access to education and opportunity, and Indigenous Peoples preserving their heritage while participating fully in national development.

As we honor the sacrifices of those who secured our freedom, let us reaffirm our commitment to an inclusive and accessible education system where no learner is left behind. By empowering every Filipino through knowledge, innovation, and opportunity, we strengthen the foundations of a progressive, self-reliant, and united nation.

May we carry the torch of freedom not only as a remembrance of our history, but as a shared responsibility to build a future where every Filipino can thrive.
