The Student Council, through the leadership of Lingkod Committee and the Executive Board, is once again reactivating Alay Kalinga to support our kababayans affected by Super Typhoon Uwan, which has brought severe flooding and damage to several communities across Luzon and Visayas.

We will be accepting monetary donations through the school cashier or via online bank transfer. For in-kind donations, you may bring them starting tomorrow, November 11, 1PM to 5PM and again on November 12-14 from 8AM to 5PM. Drop off will be at Gate 14 (Room J106).

All proceeds will be directed to partner communities and organizations currently conducting on-ground relief distribution and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas.

We will be extending the donation period for Alay Kalinga Cebu. Monetary donations will be open until October 8, 2025 through the indicated payments methods above.

Two nights ago, a 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck Cebu, leaving our brothers and sisters in urgent need of help. In response, the Xavier School Student Council, through the leadership of Lingkod and the Executive Board, is reactivating Alay Kalinga.

Monetary donations will be accepted until October 5 through the indicated payment methods. Any amount is deeply appreciated.

As one Xavier community, let us continue to embody what it means to be persons for others by extending our generosity to those who need it the most.

Alay Kalinga Update‼️

We are grateful for all of our volunteers and donors who helped make Alay Kalinga possible. As of July 26, 2025, we were able to pack a total of 516 packs of relief bags for the victims of the recent Habagat. Relief Operations will resume on Monday, details to follow.

Alay Kalinga will now be extending its donation drive to accepting bulk in-kind donations. Please refer to the list of essentials above. Drop off point will be at J106 of the JHS Building. You can enter via Gate 1 or 14. We will be receiving your donations tomorrow, July 25, until Saturday, July 26.

Currently, Metro Manila and its surrounding provinces are experiencing inclement weather enhanced by the Habagat. As of July 22, there are over 1.2 million individuals currently being affected by the storm. Members of the Xavier Community have also been affected by this. In response to such, the Xavier School Student Council, under the lead of Lingkod, is activating Alay Kalinga.

As of now, we are only able to accept monetary donations through the indicated payment methods below to ensure immediate assistance. Any amount would suffice and all donations will be greatly appreciated by the affected families.
