The Media Ministry and Publications teams attended a training-workshop on June 20, 2026 to enhance their skill in online news writing and photography.

Mr. John Paul Cadiz, the resource person, discussed the fundamentals of online news writing and photography.

He emphasized the importance of accuracy, objectivity, and conciseness in writing news for online content. He also discussed the basic elements of photography.

HAPPENING NOW | Members of the Media Ministry and Publication Team of St. Pius X Seminary participate in a lecture-workshop on Online Writing and Photography conducted by Mr. John Paul Cadiz.

Excerpts from the talk of Rev. Fr. Jaime Noel B. Deslate, Vice Rector and Director of Human Formation, as he discussed the Program of Human Formation with the seminarians.

June 19, 2026 – The SPXS community gathered at the main chapel for a Human Formation orientation facilitated by the Rev. Fr. Jaime Noel Deslate.

The session introduced the various workshops, activities, and events prepared for the academic year, all aimed at strengthening the human foundation essential to the foundation of seminarians.

Highlighting the heart of the reflection, Fr. Deslate shared, “If there would be a distinct image in the seminary, hopefully it would be of brotherhood and fraternal love.”

More than presenting upcoming programs, the gathering emphasized the importance of fraternal love in seminary life.

Through the planned formation activities, they are encouraged to grow in maturity, charity, and authentic relationships.

As the talk comes to a close, the call to brotherhood serves as a reminder that formation is nurtured not only through learning and prayer, but also through living as a community of brothers in Christ.
