Yesterday, 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 18, 2026—The College of St. John-Roxas commenced its 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 2026-2027.

Moderators made their first appearance as students cheered for the respective Clubs they anticipate joining. The orientation was made successful as Paterson O. Dorado III— HSSG Secretary, thoroughly encapsulated the information regarding the strengthened club system and the policies we are expected to abide by.

Moreover, two additional clubs were formally introduced mid-discussion: The Basketball and Drama Club, ensuring that students are well-equipped with the necessary skills they aspire to achieve.

Ultimately, each club truly holds significance in nurturing not only the abilities individually, but the camaraderie and community we are yet to make along the way.

The success of the Opening of Classes would not have been possible without the dedication and service of not only, our Student Government, but as well as our 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨.

During the Flag Ceremony held on June 15, 2026, at the College of St. John-Roxas, these individuals were formally recognized for their contributions in ensuring a smooth, organized, and welcoming start to the academic year.

While they, too, deserved to be welcomed back, they chose to welcome others first. Through their service, they helped fellow Lasallians feel at home, turning the first day of school into a warm and memorable experience for everyone. For that, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all OOC Volunteers who received this recognition.

On June 12–14, the HSSG participated in Project LAYAG, a program that greatly enhanced the skills and perspectives of student leaders from across the country.

Through the sessions prepared by Galing Kabataan PH, participants were reminded of the importance of accountability for their actions, even in times of mistakes; professionalism in every process; living according to God’s purpose; practicing integrity; promoting sustainability; and prioritizing their well-being throughout their leadership journey.

Project LAYAG was more than a learning experience—it was a reminder for every young leader to serve with purpose, lead with integrity, and journey forward with balance.
