The START-CSJR Scholarship and Student Assistantship Program is now open to incoming first-year college students who aspire to enroll in the Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English.

Through scholarship assistance, supervised assistantship experiences, and Lasallian formation, STARTers are given opportunities to learn, serve, and grow while pursuing their college education.

The College of St. John-Roxas' employees actively participated in “A Bridge to the Future,” a seminar on the Cost Leadership Initiative Program facilitated by Engr. William A. Bantigue, CSJ-R Board of Trustee, on June 11, Thursday.

The seminar provided valuable insights into cost leadership, effective resource management, and organizational sustainability, highlighting practical strategies that organizations can adopt to improve efficiency, optimize resources, and achieve long-term success.

On June 12, 1898, the Philippine flag was proudly raised in Kawit, Cavite as our nation declared its independence from Spanish rule. Led by General Emilio Aguinaldo, this historic day reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and love for country shown by our Filipino heroes.

Today, we honor the freedom they fought for and continue to celebrate the spirit of being Filipino. May this day remind us that independence is not only a gift from the past, but also a responsibility we carry in the present. It calls us to love our country deeply, to value peace and unity, and to contribute in our own ways to building a better nation.

Mabuhay ang Kalayaan!

While many were returning to school for the first time this year, our Student Government Officers and Student Volunteers chose to arrive early and serve. From June 8–9, they dedicated their time, energy, and Lasallian spirit to warmly welcome every student back home.

This beautiful act of service reminds us that we are strongest when we journey together. More than volunteers, they became the smiling faces, helping hands, and welcoming hearts that made the opening of Academic Year 2026–2027 smooth and successful.

Truly, it takes a community to make a homecoming meaningful. This is the grace of community and only the beginning of great things ahead.
