The purpose of historical films, including those inspired by real-life events but dramatized, is not to incite hatred against any particular race. When we watch films like Pulang Araw, the intention is not to foster resentment towards the Japanese people. Instead, these movies should remind us that while the Japanese Imperial Army committed severe atrocities against Filipinos during World War II, the capacity for such acts exists within anyone, regardless of nationality. These films prompt us to confront the horrors of the past, urging us to ensure they are not repeated in our present or future. A film like Pulang Araw should evoke a deep sense of anger and resolve, not directed at any race, but towards the idea of such atrocities ever occurring again—a resounding cry of "Never Again."

The heavy rains, lightning, and strong winds that hit parts of Pampanga, including Arayat, Santa Ana, Candaba, and San Luis, were the cause of severe damage in these areas. We extend our prayers to the families affected by the storm, as some reported violent winds that swept through Arayat and Candaba, leading to the collapse of houses and widespread damage.

The beast in them is sleeping, not dead.
