At Curiocity Playiskool, we’re teaching our little learners that big wins start with a calm heart. In our cup-shooting activity, children practiced more than just aim—they practiced self-regulation.
By taking a deep breath and counting to three before rolling the ball, our students learned how to:
Regulate emotions through mindful breathing.
Communicate calmly with peers while waiting for a turn.
Build resilience by trying again after a missed shot.
Celebrate others with cheers and high-fives!
Learning to manage "the big feelings" of competition makes every success even sweeter.
