Promising artistic talents were spotlighted by Filipino artist Abe Orobia in his latest exhibitions.
Orobia explores the intricate relationship between humanity and nature through evocative, scenic, material-based paintings. Recently, he mounted two exhibitions as an avenue to introduce his mentees โ a pool of talented visual artists who Orobia trusts are set to mark their own names in the community.
Both events featured the young talents from Artelier, a student organization at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) that emphasizes the appreciation of the arts and the promotion of the use of traditional media.

Filipino artist Abe Orobia showcased emerging artistic talents in two recent exhibitions that highlighted the work of his mentees and explored the intersection of humanity, nature, and personal growth.
Orobia, known for his scenic, material-based paintings, staged the shows as a platform to introduce promising visual artists from Artelier, a student organization at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde that promotes traditional media and appreciation of the arts.
Orobia currently teaches under the Fine Arts Culture-Based Arts Program at the Benilde School of Arts, Culture, and Performance (SACP).
