In a world where dreams seem to be dictated by financial limitations, 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐃. 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐬 defied the odds and carved her own path to success. A certified public accountant, a lecturer, and a beacon of hope for aspiring professionals, Quintina's story is one that will inspire generations to come.

Growing up in a humble household, Quintina and her family faced an uncertain future when it came to her education. The financial burden was overwhelming, casting doubt on whether she would ever have the opportunity to pursue a college degree. With limited resources, Quintina had to carefully consider her options.

Engineering was her first choice, but the financial implications were daunting. It seemed like an impossible dream. However, fate had a different plan for Quintina. She learned about Laguna University (LU), a newly established institution offering a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) at an affordable tuition fee. With hope in her heart and determination in her eyes, she seized the opportunity and took the entrance examination. Against all odds, she passed and embarked on a life-changing journey.

LU proved to be a catalyst for Quintina's transformation. While some doubted the university's ability to nurture her dreams, Quintina never wavered. She saw LU as her gateway to a better future, and she was determined to prove the skeptics wrong.

The highlight of Quintina's college life was not only her graduation but also the unyielding support she received from her family. They stood by her side, selflessly sacrificing their own comforts to ensure she had the means to pursue her dreams. Quintina's family cooked peanuts and yema for her to sell, and she worked as a student assistant to support her income. Even her professors stepped in, providing financial aid and guidance along the way. Together, they formed an unwavering support system that drove Quintina towards success.

Now, as a seasoned professional, Quintina's accomplishments shine brightly. She currently holds the position of Chief of the Allotment and Control Section at the UPLB Accounting Office. Over the years, she has worked her way up through dedication and hard work, starting as a trainee and gradually assuming more responsibilities. Her role requires her to supervise a team of 18 staff members and oversee the daily operations of the office. Quintina's ability to navigate the complexities of her position while maintaining integrity and empathy is a testament to her exceptional leadership.

Furthermore, Quintina's dedication to education extends beyond her professional endeavors. As a part-time lecturer at the College of Economics and Management at UPLB, she imparts her knowledge and experiences to the next generation of aspiring professionals.

Quintina's journey not only serves as an inspiration to aspiring professionals but also as a reminder of the power of perseverance and faith. Her message to future professionals is clear: 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩. As government employees, we are entrusted with the responsibility of serving the public interest with integrity and compliance. Quintina urges her fellow accountants and professionals to always strive to be the best versions of themselves, to compete not with others but with their own potential. She firmly believes that doing your best is far more valuable than simply being the best.

𝑱𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑮. 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒕, a dedicated and passionate educator, has come a long way since her days as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education student at Laguna University. With the motto "𝘈𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳" 𝘣𝘺 𝘖𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘰, she embarked on a journey that would shape her into the exceptional teacher she is today.

Jenny's decision to enroll at Laguna University was serendipitous. Originally seeking financial aid at the Laguna Provincial Capitol, she stumbled upon the LU Admission Test (LUAT) and successfully passed it. Although it meant studying far from her hometown of San Pablo City, Jenny embraced the opportunity to explore new places as a college student, unknowingly preparing herself for the adventures that awaited her as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). Jenny's college life revolved around a delicate balancing act of school, work, and home responsibilities. Despite the demanding schedule, her most cherished experience was being a student assistant to a professor she deeply admired. This professor, whom she considered “𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦” from Mitch Albom's book entitled "𝘛𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦," inspired Jenny to understand the profound impact a teacher can have on a student's life. This encounter ignited her passion for teaching and set her on a path to becoming an influential educator herself.

Jenny's list of accomplishments reflects her dedication to education and her unwavering commitment to personal growth. Here are some notable achievements, listed from recent to oldest:

1. 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓 2023, 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒚, 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑴𝒆𝒙𝒊𝒄𝒐, 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂: Jenny received recognition as a Teacher of Character, honoring her as a role model and mentor to her students. Her consistent demonstration of moral character traits such as respect, responsibility, fairness, trustworthiness, caring, and citizenship has positively shaped and guided her students towards becoming conscientious and ethical members of society.

2. 𝑷𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒖𝒃𝒂𝒊: Jenny broke barriers by becoming one of the first Filipino teachers to teach at an American School in Dubai. In an environment where previous teachers were predominantly native English speakers, Jenny's achievements showcased the talent and dedication of Filipino educators on an international stage.

3. 2019 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 (𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕), 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, 𝑨𝒃𝒖 𝑫𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊, 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑨𝒓𝒂𝒃 𝑬𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔: Jenny's exceptional leadership skills and commitment to excellence were recognized when she was awarded the title of Best Department Head. Her efforts in promoting literacy and nurturing a lifelong love for books have made a lasting impact on the lives of her students.

Before venturing abroad in 2014, she shared her knowledge and expertise with aspiring educators, ensuring that future generations of teachers are equipped with the skills necessary to make a difference in the field of education.

Teacher Jenny’s message to future professionals is one of honesty, integrity, and continuous growth. She emphasizes the importance of being truthful in one's work, as the quality of one's efforts reflects their character. Jenny encourages aspiring professionals to be competent and to constantly strive for self-improvement. Her own experiences in unfamiliar territories taught her the value of seeking knowledge, asking questions, and embracing new experiences. She urges students to be the best they can be, reminding them that greatness is achieved through dedication and perseverance.

Jenny Anne G. Monserrat's journey from Laguna University to becoming an esteemed educator in various parts of the world is a testament to her unwavering commitment to education and personal growth. 𝓔𝓷𝓰𝓻. 𝓡𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓸 𝓓. 𝓢𝓸𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓲𝓸 𝓙𝓻., a.k.a. Mie, is a respected professional and instructor at Laguna State Polytechnic University - Sta. Cruz Main Campus (LSPU-SCC) epitomizes the essence of perseverance and excellence in his career. His journey from student to professional is a testament to the values of dedication, determination, and devotion.

Choosing Laguna University for his degree was a strategic decision driven by practicality. The affordability of the tuition fees compared to other universities made it the ideal choice for Mie. This decision laid the foundation for his academic pursuit and set the stage for his future success.

One of the defining moments of Mie's college life was his appointment as one of the presidents of the Mechanical Engineering Society. This leadership role not only honed his organizational skills but also provided a platform for personal and professional growth, shaping his perspective on leadership and teamwork.

Mie’s academic accomplishments include earning a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) majoring in Energy Engineering from Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Manila in 2023. His academic prowess was further recognized with the 1st Place Best Paper Category award at the "First Asian Conference on Resource Management and Governance," hosted by Northwest Samar State University. His dedication to teaching was acknowledged with the prestigious Male Model Teacher of the Year Award at LSPU-SCC in 2019. Mie's professional journey began with obtaining his license as a mechanical engineer in 2012 and culminated with the 1st runner-up recognition in the Sibol Awards for College sponsored by DOST in 2013.

When asked about his message to future professionals, Romeo emphasized the importance of perseverance and passion. He encouraged them by saying, "It doesn’t matter how slowly you go, as long as you don’t stop. Enjoy and love your profession. Keep dreaming. Keep grinding. All izz well." His words reflect his unwavering commitment to continuous growth and his desire to inspire and guide the next generation of professionals.

Engr. Romeo D. Solitario Jr.'s remarkable journey serves as a shining example of dedication, determination, and devotion. His story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the impact of embracing professional and personal growth. As an instructor and professional, he continues to inspire and empower others, leaving an indelible mark on the academic and professional landscape.

𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑲𝒂𝒚𝒅𝒆𝒆 𝑷. 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏, an esteemed individual with an impressive list of accomplishments, has made a significant impact in both his academic and professional lives. From his humble beginnings at Laguna University to his current role as the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) Director at St. Vincent College of Cabuyao, his journey is a testament to hard work, dedication, and a commitment to serving others.

When asked about his decision to enroll at Laguna University, Kaydee cites affordability as one of the primary factors. Recognizing the financial constraints of his family, he sought an institution that could provide a quality education without burdening them financially. Laguna University proved to be the perfect choice, offering an environment that fostered learning and personal growth.

During his time at Laguna University, Kaydee’s involvement in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) stands out as a significant highlight. Balancing his academic studies with active participation in the ROTC program, he not only gained knowledge and skills but also developed confidence. Delivering presentations in front of his peers and engaging in rigorous training instilled in him a sense of discipline and preparedness. Today, he continues to serve as an ROTC tactical officer, passing on his knowledge and experiences to the next generation of cadets.

As a professional, Kaydee has achieved remarkable feats in various roles and organizations. Notably, he responded during the Taal Volcano Eruption in 2020, providing assistance to affected communities. He also volunteered during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating his dedication to serving others.

Within the 4RCDG Rescom, Kaydee organized the prestigious search for the 4RCDG Binibining Laang-Kawal 2022 and a regional singing competition. He also served as a host for different segments on Kartada 4 TV, an online video-on-demand-cast (vodcast) of the 4RCDG. These accomplishments highlight his ability to organize and engage others in meaningful activities.

Kaydee's contributions extend to the Reserve Command, Philippine Army where he first live streamed "USAPANG RESERVIST," a live video broadcast that interviewed successful reservists such as Senator Tolentino, Mayor Lucy Torres, and Ronnie Liang. He also facilitated the National Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) Competition on "Pagpupugay sa Watawat ng Pilipinas" and played an important role as a writer and publisher of the Reserve Command Philippine Army's activities. Prior to all his military contributions, he was an active military officer assigned to the Reserve Command of the Philippine Army, and now he is a proud member of the Philippine Army Reserve.

Aside from his military involvement, Kaydee has excelled academically, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He also completed the Special Academic Program for Teachers and underwent four months of military training in the Probationary Officer Training Course (POTC). Additionally, he passed the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers.

Kaydee's dedication and exceptional performance have earned him numerous accolades. He is the first and, so far, the only recipient of the Philippine Army Advance ROTC Cash Incentive at Laguna University. His commitment to service has been recognized with awards such as the Military Merit Medal, Military Commendation Medals, and the Disaster Response and Rescue Operations (DRRO) Ribbon. Additionally, he has received several letters of commendation for his outstanding contributions.

To the future professionals of Laguna University, Kaydee offers words of advice and encouragement.
