“Keeping our schools safe is a shared responsibility, and the PNP will continue to support efforts that protect learners, teachers, and the wider community.
“Security in schools is not only about preventing threats, but also about building confidence among students, parents, and educators.

The operation stemmed from a joint shoreline patrol conducted by personnel of the Sultan Naga Dimaporo Municipal Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Unit, and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of the Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office, together with the 5th Special Operations Unit of the PNP Maritime Group and the Sultan Naga Dimaporo Sea-Based Command.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated items are now under the custody of Sultan Naga Dimaporo MPS pending proper disposition, while coordination for the turnover of the seized ci******es to the Bureau of Customs is underway.
“Smuggling weakens legitimate trade, deprives the government of revenues, and enables criminal activity to thrive in our coastal communities. We will remain relentless in stopping these illegal operations and in holding everyone involved accountable under the law,” PGEN Nartatez said.
