The entire Treston community warmly congratulates BS Information Technology freshman Pietro Boris Benedicto Bacani for his outstanding achievement in the IC3 Digital Literacy Philippine Championship! By mastering the IC3 GS6 Level 1 standard, Pietro proved his elite command over vital ICT skills like computing fundamentals, key applications, and living online.

With this national win, Pietro has officially earned the honor of being one of the representatives of the Philippines in the upcoming IC3 Digital Literacy International Championship 2026 from August 14 to 16 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Treston International College community is truly proud of our BS Information Technology freshman and Senior High School alumnus (HUMSS) Pietro Boris Benedicto D. Bacani, for his latest remarkable achievement in the field of writing.

Pietro’s brilliant pen has reached the pages of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) Magazine. In its April special issue, his featured article, "Into the Lion's Den," masterfully showcases Treston’s vibrant community, academic programs, and core institutional values to a premier audience of global business leaders and industry professionals.

Pietro is no stranger to literary and journalistic excellence, possessing a track record that highlights his dedication and exceptional talent. He previously clinched 4th place in the highly competitive Column Writing category at the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) 2024. Furthermore, his insights and potential were recognized on a regional scope when he was featured in The ASEAN Magazine's 45th issue, titled "ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future." Adding to his growing list of accolades, Pietro was also selected as one of the elite 30 writing fellows in the first-ever Philippines Graphic Literary Workshop.

Whether he is navigating the complex technical landscape of Information Technology or crafting powerful, impactful narratives, Pietro perfectly embodies the excellence, leadership, and global mindset that Treston aims to nurture in every student. Joined by their dedicated faculty, the evening was a beautiful tribute to the students' hard work, academic success, and personal growth. The sophisticated venue provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night of reflection and camaraderie, marking the final chapter of their senior high school years. The Treston School of Technology successfully conducted IT Essentials, an Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) event centered on creativity, innovation, and critical problem-solving, held at the Business Forum Hall 2 last June 8, 2026. The event featured two distinguished speakers who shared invaluable industry insights with the participants.

Mr. Arren Martinez, a Multimedia Artist and IT Specialist, opened the sessions by introducing new perspectives on digital creativity and design innovation, showcasing advanced techniques in multimedia arts and 3D design using Autodesk Maya. Following this, Engr. Moiselle Roxas, a Treston International College alumna from Batch 2016, delivered an inspiring presentation titled "The Future Belongs to Problem Solvers," which motivated students to cultivate critical thinking skills and prepare to become the innovative leaders of tomorrow.

The event brought together attendees at the venue alongside an active online audience comprising students from Treston Senior High School and Ezentia Incorporated. The School of Technology extends its appreciation to the speakers and participants for making the event a resounding success.

Treston International College warmly welcomed its valued partners from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao, for an insightful meeting on June 15, 2026. The session focused on advancing ongoing collaborative initiatives and exploring exciting new academic pathways for both institutions.

The meeting brought together key leaders to discuss these future ventures. Representing Treston International College were Ms. Maria Carolina Abanil, Academic Director; Mr. Kenneth Castillo, Senior High School Assistant Principal; Ms. Gladys Estrella, Head, Student Affairs & Services Office; Ms. Minerva Basilio, School Head, School of Arts & Sciences; and School of Business faculty members Mr. Ronald Untivero and Mr. Jose Rowell Talatala. Representing USJ Macao were Dr. Alessandro Lampo, Head of the Department of Business Studies, Faculty of Business and Law, and Dr. Emil Marques, Head of the Executive Training and Lifelong Learning Office.

The meeting was followed by a campus tour around Treston-BrightSide Academy, showcasing its programs and facilities.

Looking ahead, TRESTON remains committed to fostering strategic partnerships to drive academic innovation and expand global perspectives for its entire community.

The entire Treston community celebrates Grade 12 student, Dexter Jelar G. Bassuit, for being named as one of the recipients of the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) Undergraduate Scholarship!

We are incredibly proud of this outstanding milestone and wish him the absolute best as he pursues his dreams. Keep on shining, Dexter!

The Treston Tourism Planning and Development class successfully concluded its academic semester with a culminating activity featuring student-led presentations for the proposed plans for the MASE House Us and Polillo Development Project. Developed under the academic guidance of Dr. Jazzy Buela, School Head, School for Culinary, Hospitality & Tourism, the proposals highlighted innovative and sustainable approaches to regional tourism development.

The presentations were formally evaluated by a distinguished panel of executives. The external review committee included Mr. Gerwyn See, Chief Executive Officer of MHI; Mr. John Lee, House Us Project Lead; and Ms. Mary Rose Gonzales, Marketing Lead for MHI. This high-level academic event provided students with a critical platform to defend their research and showcase actionable, forward-thinking solutions to prominent industry leaders.

The Treston School of Culinary, Hospitality & Tourism officially wrapped up The Epicuria 2026: The Culminating Fine Dining Experience last June 11, 2026, at the Treston Bar & Dining Hall. Serving as the ultimate culmination for Food and Beverage Services Operations Management, Culinary Management and Applied Nutrition and Meal Planning, and Macro Perspective, this exquisite banquet was a brilliant showcase of the students’ skills, creativity, and industry competency. Designed to develop real-world hospitality and tourism readiness, the event allowed the students to apply their learned concepts in a simulated professional environment.

This memorable milestone was executed flawlessly thanks to the outstanding leadership and teamwork of the student organizing committee, which featured Sam Kingsley Gallangi as Maitre d'hotel, Alyssa Louise Cordova as Executive Chef, and Kyra Paed and Hilary Paderanga as Event Overseers. They achieved this success under the expert guidance of SCHT Head Dr. Jazzy Buela, Event Lead and Coordinator Mr. Vince Gabriel, and Event Coordinators Chef Archie Menchaves, Chef Aron Pioquid, and Chef Mike Silbor.

Furthermore, the evening was made even more meaningful by the presence of supportive parents, faculty, and administrators, whose encouragement inspired the event’s success. Congratulations to everyone involved for delivering an unforgettable dining experience!
