Our growing neighborhood art group is currently working on an impressionist wildflower garden, and it’s been wonderful to watch friendships and creativity bloom together. 🌸💛

What makes this especially exciting is that everyone in the class is a beginner. It’s a wonderful reminder that you don’t need experience to enjoy making art.

🎨 Another creative afternoon with our young artists here at Arbor Lanes!

Our neighborhood kids recently explored patterns, colors, and design as they transformed simple mirrors into vibrant works of art using a mix of decorative materials and their own drawings.

One of the things we love most about these sessions is watching children gain confidence in their ideas while having fun with friends and neighbors. The creativity, focus, and excitement in the room made for a truly memorable afternoon. 💛

One of the things I enjoy most about creating is finding new life in old things.

This project began with an old lampshade that we were no longer using. Instead of throwing it away, I decided to transform it into something new: a handmade chandelier created from recycled materials, including toilet paper spools carefully cut, shaped, and assembled into decorative patterns.

What makes this project even more special is that it's a family effort. My 93 years young Mommy has been helping by gluing and clipping the pieces together while they dry. It’s been such a joy to spend this creative time with her and to see that arts and crafts can be enjoyed at any age. 💛

The chandelier is still far from finished, but it’s slowly taking shape one piece at a time. Sometimes the creative journey is just as meaningful as the finished work.

🎨 Our Adult Painting for Beginners class continues to explore creativity one project at a time!

In our second session, participants worked on colorful avocado paintings set against their preferred backgrounds, learning how to play with contrast, blending, and composition. 💙🥑🌸

It’s been wonderful watching our painters' confidence grow from one session to the next. We can’t wait to see what they create in the sessions ahead. 💛

🎨 Another colorful and creative day in our Kids’ Arts & Crafts class!

In this session, our young artists painted papier-mâché giraffes and were encouraged to make them as bright, bold, and imaginative as they wanted. From playful color combinations to creative patterns, each giraffe reflected the unique personality and creativity of its artist. 🦒🌈

One of the best parts of the class is seeing children explore freely, build confidence in their ideas, and simply enjoy the process of creating in a fun and encouraging environment.

🎨 A beautiful start to our Adult Painting for Beginners workshop!

Our first session introduced participants to silhouette painting, where bold dark shapes and delicate details came together against vibrant skies. Each artwork turned out beautifully, and it was such a joy to see our painters complete their very first project with confidence and creativity. 🌅

One of the loveliest parts of the class was watching everyone relax into the process, taking time to slow down, experiment with color, and simply enjoy creating.

We’re excited for the rest of this 8-session journey and all the new techniques and artworks still to come. 💛

🎨 Our first ArtNook kids class in Westgrove was such a fun and creative afternoon!

The children spent the session drawing, coloring, and creating their own unique designs, and it was wonderful to see their imagination and excitement come to life. 💛 From start to finish, the room was filled with creativity, focus, and lots of smiles.
