Tagum Doctors College Inc.’s Vice President for Quality Assurance and Extensions, Dr. Jesa S. Madelo, RPh, attends the AUN-QA Tier 2 Assessor Training Workshop at Mahidol University, Bangkok, from October 23 to 29, 2025.

This marks a significant step in strengthening TDCI’s quality assurance practices. Through this program, Dr. Madelo will gain deeper insights into quality assessment methodologies, program-level evaluations, and continuous improvement strategies aligned with international standards.

The workshop affirms TDCI’s collective commitment to enhancing institutional systems and processes—ensuring that our students, faculty, partners, and stakeholders experience the highest levels of satisfaction, trust, and excellence in all that we do.

Members of the Quality Assurance and Extensions team has proved this as all five of them had been recognized as top performing employees in Tagum Doctors College, Inc for AY 2024-2025. A well deserved accomplishment for all of them. Keep up the great work and continue to surpass standards.

The Quality Assurance Management (QAM) Office successfully hosted its 3rd Internal QA Forum on March 5, 2025. This important event brought together key representatives from the various offices of Area 3: Resource Management. During the forum, participants engaged in insightful discussions on key topics, including updates on the revisions of Area 3 offices' manuals, strategic planning initiatives, and ongoing concerns raised by the respective offices. The forum also covered critical elements such as risk management plans and nonconformity reports, focusing on aligning efforts to improve overall efficiency. The Internal QA Forum is a significant part of the QAM Office’s ongoing initiative to streamline compliance processes in preparation for PAASCU accreditation, ensuring that all teams are well-equipped to meet and exceed accreditation standards.

Tagum Doctors College, Inc. has officially concluded the Work Immersion Program in partnership with the Tagum City National High School (TCNHS) on February 26, 2025, with a culmination program held at the TDCI AVR. The program commenced with a congratulatory message from the VP for Quality Assurance Management, Internationalization and Extension, Jesa S. Madelo, RPh, MPH, PhD, followed by inspirational messages from the program heads and program representatives from the Nursing, MLS, Pharmacy, RadTech, Biology, and Psychology department that the students had the opportunity to immerse with. This was succeeded by the immersion students' sincere expression of their gratitude to the institution and participating offices who took part in organizing the event and educating the enthusiastic learners. To end the program, TDCI's assigned Immersion Head and Quality Assurance Director, Mr. Ryle Andaya, gave a message of gratitude and farewell to the enthused students, proceeded by a heartfelt thank you message from Ms. Marcyl Espiritu, the TCNHS representative.

The 80-hour Immersion Program was truly an insightful experience for the students as they were able to get a glimpse of what it's like to be a college student in TDCI. We hope this only marks the beginning of a long series of fruitful partnerships between Tagum Doctors College, Inc. and TCNHS.

On February 11, 2024, the students from Tagum City National High School (TCNHS) officially kicked off their work immersion program at Tagum Doctors College, Inc. The event began with a brief introduction from our VP for Quality Assurance Management and Extension, and our AVP for Academics, followed by a quick orientation from our esteemed program heads. The students had a blast learning about what each program offers. The morning ended with a short discussion from TDCI's Safety Officer on the campus rules and etiquette.

Every day, the students are deployed to a different program, where they can immerse themselves and experience the program courses firsthand, guiding them to choose their schools and college programs when they embark on their college journey in the next academic year.
