The Department of Accounting Education (DAE) proudly expands its global reach through a meaningful international partnership with 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 (𝗨𝗧𝗣) 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮, formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The visit included benchmarking activities and an academic lecture at Fakultas Ekonomi, Bisnis, dan Akuntansi, providing valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and academic development.

Represented by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗡. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, this partnership reflects DAE’s commitment to fostering international collaboration, academic excellence, and global opportunities for both students and faculty.

UMTC celebrates a noteworthy 83.33 percent first-time passing rate and an overall performance of 72.22 percent. With 13 newly licensed CPAs, this milestone stands as a testament to UMTC's commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and professional competence.

The Department of Accounting Education proudly presents the UM Tagum College’s performance in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE).

UMTC achieved a 83.33% first-time taker passing rate and an overall performance of 72.22%, both significantly surpassing the national averages of 33.51% and 30.83%, respectively.

This accomplishment reflects the University’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, integrity, innovation, and teamwork—values that continue to guide its pursuit of quality accounting education. The results stand as a testament to the consistent efforts of students, faculty, and the academic community in fostering competence, discipline, and professional readiness.

As UMTC continues to uphold its standards, this milestone serves not only as a measure of success but also as a reflection of sustained dedication and collective achievement in shaping future Certified Public Accountants.
