In light of the recent earthquake that struck General Santos City in the province of South Cotabato, many families have been affected and are in need of our compassion and support.

The UM Tagum College, through the Community Extension Center, is launching a 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 to extend help to our fellow Filipinos who are currently facing this difficult time.

There are people who simply hold a position, fulfill their tasks, and leave once their responsibilities are done. And then there are people like you: the kind who willingly carry more than what is expected, not for recognition, not for applause, but because helping others has always come naturally to you.

You are one of the very few people whose presence can always be felt, especially during the moments when things become difficult. In situations where others would choose to step back, you continue showing up. Even through stress, exhaustion, pressure, disappointments, and adversities that could have easily discouraged you, you still choose to stand beside the people who need you. That kind of commitment is rare, and that kind of heart is even rarer.

Many may only notice the things you do on the surface, the help you offer, the responsibilities you handle, the effort you constantly give, but those who truly know you understand that your strength goes far deeper than that. Behind your calm presence is someone who continues to fight silent battles while still making room to support others. And honestly, that says so much about the kind of person you are.

You have this quiet way of making things lighter for the people around you. You make work easier, burdens softer, and difficult days more bearable simply because you choose to stay, to help, and to care. You may not always realize it, but your willingness to go beyond what is asked of you has inspired more people than you know.

Not everyone dares to remain dependable despite everything life throws at them. Not everyone has the strength to continue giving even when they themselves are tired. But somehow, you still do. Again and again.

So today, we hope you allow yourself to pause and realize how appreciated you truly are. We hope life becomes gentler with you. We hope the kindness you freely give to others finds its way back to you tenfold. And we hope you never lose that genuine heart that makes people feel safe, supported, and seen.

Another unforgettable chapter of Hudyaka 2026 has been written! From exciting games and amazing performances to the loud cheers and happy smiles, every moment was filled with energy and passion. These captured memories remind us of the fun, unity, and friendship we shared as one DBAE family.

Hudyaka was more than just competitions and events it was a celebration of talent, teamwork, and togetherness. Every player, performer, and supporter became part of something special that made this year truly meaningful and memorable.
