Earlier today, our school successfully participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped promote disaster preparedness and safety.

Pooc National High School succesfully conducted an earthquake drill headed by our SDRRM Coordinator, Sir JB Segarra.

Our students, staffs, and teachers participated in this activity to practice "duck, cover, and hold" and orderly evacuation procedures. This is also to strengthen our readiness, practice safety measures, and ensure that everyone knows what to do during emergencies.

This activity serves as a reminder that disasters can happen unexpectedly, but through proper training, discipline, and cooperation, we can minimize risks and help ensure everyone's safety.

Independence Day is all about love, sacrifice, and freedom. Without the love and sacrifice of our national heroes, there would be no freedom.

On behalf of the entire student body, Pooc National High School extends its support, prayers, and solidarity to all those affected by the recent powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8, 2026. Our thoughts and prayers are with the individuals, families, and communities affected by this tragedy.

We also extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. During this difficult time, may they find strength, comfort, and hope.

As rescue and recovery operations continue, we pray for the safety and protection of everyone affected. Let us continue to unite in support and offer prayers for the people of Mindanao.

Yesterday marked the successful Opening Program for S.Y. 2026–2027, and it was truly a wonderful way to begin the new school year.

To every student who showed up nervous but excited, every teacher who prepared with love, Thank you. This day happened because of all of you.

We would also like to thank Ma’am Myra G. Molina and Sir Jilime D. Lotino for being our emcees and guiding us through the morning and afternoon with energy and heart.

Let’s make 2026–2027 a year of supporting each other, trying new things, and learning from our mistakes.
