A productive and informative meeting was held at Balas Elementary School.
The assembly was led by Dr. Jay-Ann Mendoza, School Principal II. The meeting was attended by the dedicated faculty and staff of Balas Elementary School.The purpose of the gathering was to discuss critical operational updates, align pedagogical practices, and plans for upcoming school events for the remainder of the 2026 calendar and the start of the next school year.

📢 Bilang paghahanda para sa gaganaping 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, nagsagawa ngayong araw ang bawat class adviser ng maikling orientation at briefing sa kanilang mga mag-aaral tungkol sa wastong paghahanda at tamang pagtugon sa oras ng lindol.

Tinalakay ang kahalagahan ng pagiging handa, mga emergency procedures, evacuation routes, at ang tamang pagsasagawa ng “Duck, Cover, and Hold” upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng lahat sa oras ng sakuna.

Ang paghahandang ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng paaralan na mapaigting ang kamalayan, kahandaan, at disiplina ng bawat mag-aaral sa panahon ng anumang emergency.

Kung makarinig po kayo ng siren o alarma mula sa paaralan, huwag po kayong mabahala sapagkat ito ay bahagi lamang ng earthquake drill at hindi isang aktuwal na emergency.

Teachers' Orientation for the Conduct of the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

In preparation for the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), the teaching personnel of Balas Elementary School actively participated in an orientation session spearheaded and guided by Dr. Jay-Ann A. Mendoza, School Principal II, together with Mr. Arlon M. Pascual, School DRRM Coordinator.

The orientation focused on the proper implementation of earthquake preparedness and response protocols to ensure the safety and readiness of both learners and school personnel during emergency situations. Important reminders on the conduct of the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure, evacuation plans, designated assembly areas, and the roles and responsibilities of teachers during the drill were thoroughly discussed.

Through the leadership and commitment of Dr. Mendoza and the technical guidance of Mr. Pascual, the school continues to strengthen its disaster preparedness initiatives, fostering a culture of safety, awareness, and resilience among the entire school community.
