The Tan-aw Guild is officially recognized as a School-Based Organization under the National Youth Commission (NYC–YORP) and proudly stands as the Official Creative Media Guild of Tanauan National High School.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the National Youth Commission, the Provincial Youth Development Office, and the Local Youth Development Office – Tanauan for their guidance and trust. We are also deeply grateful to our Secondary School Principal, Sir Richard Laurente, for his unwavering support in establishing Tan-aw Guild. Above all, we honor the Tan-aw Guild pioneers whose passion and sacrifices laid the foundation of this journey.

This recognition is not the end, it is a beginning. We move forward inspired, responsible, and committed to serving the youth through media, arts, and leadership.

Today, November 30, 2025 is a regular (non-working) holiday as per Proclamation No. 727. Bonifacio day is a national holiday that commemorating the birth anniversary of Andrés Bonifacio. One of the highlights is his founding of the secret revolutionary society "the Katipunan" which sparked the Philippines Revolution of 1896 against Spanish rule.

This day also serves as a reminder of Bonifacios's origins and his self-education through reading. His belief that true heroism springs from the heart resonates strongly: courage, pure intention, and a genuine love for the country, the Philippines.

Bonifacio Day on November 30 thus celebrates Andres Bonifacios's birth and his pivotal role in igniting the Philippine Revolution. It is observed through official ceremonies, cultural festivities, and concurrent public protests demanding government accountability — reflecting his ideals of equality, transparency, and love for the country.
