TNTS-Annex Comes Alive with Color, Music, and Dance
March 12, 2026

By Arianna May L. Canlapan

The campus of Tanza National Trade Schoolโ€“Annex was transformed into a vibrant celebration on Thursday, March 12, 2026, as students from Grades 7, 8, and 9 took center stage in a series of remarkable performances. The event, which featured traditions, cultural festivals, and hip-hop presentations, turned every corner of the school grounds into a lively and colorful spectacle filled with music, movement, and shared joy.

The performances were a true testament to the hard work, creativity, and teamwork that the students had poured into weeks of preparation. More than just an academic activity, the event gave every learner a chance to shine, to be seen, to be heard, and to be celebrated for who they are and what they can do.

Grade 7 opened the program with a heartfelt tribute to cultural heritage, showcasing traditions from different countries. Through carefully choreographed movement, live music, and brief historical lectures, the students brought these rich traditions to life, reminding the audience of the beauty and diversity of world cultures.

Grade 8 brought an entirely different energy to the stage. With their lively hip-hop routines, marked by sharp popping and dynamic grooving, the students commanded attention from start to finish. Their confidence, rhythm, and raw enthusiasm electrified the crowd, drawing cheers and applause from fellow students and teachers alike.

Closing the event on a high note, Grade 9 delivered stunning festival dance performances that celebrated the richness of Filipino culture. Dressed in elaborate, eye-catching costumes and wielding colorful props, the students moved with grace and passion, fully embodying the festive spirit that makes Philippine cultural celebrations so uniquely vibrant. Their performance was a proud and moving display of Filipino identity and artistry.

Altogether, the event was a resounding success. A day where talent flourished, pride ran deep, and the TNTS-Annex community came together in the most joyful of ways. It stands as a reminder that education, at its finest, goes far beyond the four walls of a classroom.

Tanza National Trade School โ€“ Annex expresses its profound gratitude to Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent of Cavite, for her official visit to our institution.

The insights and guidance she shared during the visit have been invaluable to our faculty, staff, and learners. Her presence served as both an affirmation of our collective efforts and a renewed call to uphold the highest standards of learner-centered education. We are equally grateful for the genuine concern and compassion she extended to our school community.

Tanza National Trade School โ€“ Annex remains steadfast in its commitment to the shared vision of the Department of Education: to nurture every learner with the quality of education they deserve. Dr. Torres' visit has inspired us to pursue that mission with greater purpose and dedication.
