It wasn’t easy to win our independence, and it’s important for us to never forget that this liberty came with a high price paid by those who loved our country more than their own lives.

As students of 12 Locke, we celebrate this day not just as a holiday, but as a reminder of our own duty. We can show our love for the Philippines by studying well, respecting others, and being united as one section and as one nation.
